    ║ Haikyuu ║

You slowly opened your eyes, feeling someone's arms around you as you smelled to the familiar scent of strawberries and a hint of cologne. You turned around facing the blonde who was still soundly asleep.

He doesn't look intimidating at all....he looks more... innocent and harmless... like a baby.

You smiled as you leaned closer into his chest, feeling the warmth and comfort, hearing his calm heartbeat and light snores. You felt safe for once. You didn't have any nightmares for the first time in many years. The nightmares of you being mistreated. The nightmares of your mother's scream, glass shattering, and your father's yells. It was just calm and peaceful here. You close your eyes as you didn't want to remember the horrible past. You then felt your eyes starting to water as tears escaped your eyes and trickled down your cheek.

"Ne.. you promised me not to cry anymore."

As you heard a voice said, you push yourself slightly away from his chest and looked up, meeting his sparkling golden eyes.

"K-kei...." You said quietly while choking on your words.

He looked at you as his hands moved to your cheeks, wiping your tears away. He then pulled you into a hug, "You know I will always protect you right?" He said calmly as he gently pats your head, trying to calm you down.

*+Tsukishima Kei's P.O.V+*

I woke up feeling her tears soaking my shirt.

"Ne... you promised me not to cry anymore," I said as my voice sounded hoarse.

She slowly pushed me away as she looked up facing me while I saw her beautiful (e/c). Her eyes are in a beautiful shade of (e/c), as I sometimes find myself lost in them.

I hated to see her cry. I hated it more than anything else.

"K-kei...," she said as her sweet and soft voice pierced through my heart, sending shivers down my spine.

I looked at her as I wiped her tears away. I wanted to comfort her. I want to do something to not make her sad anymore. Although I am good at many things, comforting someone is just not my strength. I pulled her into a hug as I said, "You know I will always protect you right?" I tried to sound comforting as I can. Hopefully, this makes her feel better. I then felt her shaking as she quietly sobbed. I sighed as I patted her head and gave her a quick peck on the top of her head.

Please don't cry anymore, I'll be there for you......

After the trauma this morning you felt a lot better. You took a quick shower and quickly got dressed. You didn't bring any extra clothing so all you have is Tsukishima's dino T-shirt that was too small for him but it's like a dress for you and your gym shorts. But aye you ain't complaining. You tied your hair in a high messy bun and you grabbed your phone. You headed downstairs, as you saw Tsukishima making brunch. You tipped toed your way over to him sneakily and gave him a back hug. He flinched due to your surprise "attack".
"(y/n), w-what are you doing..."He said, trying sound calm and not bothered but his stutter in words gave it away.

"Nothing," you simply replied as you rubbed your head against his back, smiling to the comforting scent.

"Thank you," you then said.

"Thanks for what."

"For everything."

Silence.

You slowly looked up as you saw the tip of his ears were bright red. Although you couldn't see his face you bet he was blushing. You chuckled as you let go of him and turned him around facing you. His face was as red as a tomato. He quickly turned around, as you burst out laughing.
