Hi I'm Clara Dubois, I know I don't sound like the most interesting person but my life story is pretty intriguing if I do say so myself. I come from a very wealthy family, spoiled all my life, was pretty much treated like a princess.I'm not your average perfect girl as a child I was always drawn to something more, something that you can't see by the human eye. I've been drawn to the paranormal all my life, and I never knew why until the day of my 18th birthday. ~ Flashback ~ As the sun shines through my room window I wake up and think to myself "I'm finally 18 years old, a legal adult and I can finally know the secret my parents have kept from me all my life even about my mysterious tattoo that I was never told the meaning of till now." (the one on the left up above) I've never knew how I got it or what it even means, but today that is going to change. I get up and get dressed in good enough outfit considering I still have to go to school on my birthday.

*outfit* I go downstairs to the kitchen and see my mom and dad in the dining room. "Hi sweetheart" my mom greets me. "Hey mom" I reply back. "Happy 18th birthday, you're a big girl now" my dad says. "I know dad, I'm just ready to know the meaning behind everything". "Later sweetie, at dinner, mom's making your favorite" My dad says. "That's great, I gotta go or else im going to be late" I grab my backpack and car keys then head out the front door. *time skip, normal school day* *back at home* My mom made my favorite dinner, we ate, blew out candles on a cake and I opened the presents my parents got for me. But now it's time I know the truth. They sit me down in the living room and I try to prepare myself for what I'm about to hear. "Sweetie, since your 18 I guess it's time we tell you" my mom says. "Tell me what?" I ask, anxious but excited. "Your tattoo is a soulmate tattoo only its linked to someone from the paranormal side of this universe we made a deal with his parents that when you both were the same age as you are now, we'd tell you and get you two to meet, on one condition" my dad explains in a big jumble of words. "What was the condition?", my curiosity growing more and more. "You have to marry him and have a child with him to save the underworld/paranormal" my mom tells me. "W-what?" I stutter out, "i-im too young to get married and have kids, let alone with someone I've never met before". It'll be alright honey, you're soulmates, the connection and chemistry will grow stronger once you meet" my dad says trying to calm me down. "I guess, when do I meet him?" I ask. "Tomorrow, his family and him are visiting since it was his birthday too" my mom tells me. I think to myself, that was the big secret they were hiding from me for 18 years?!
