Christmas Time

No One's POV

(Y/N) was bringing in a spruce tree as he saw Akko frantically running around her parent's house. (Y/N) stopped walking to catch Akko's attention, "Hey, calm down for a minute." "I can't. Everyone will be here in an hour and we are not even halfway done setting up." "Akko, Akko, Akko. Take it easy. Everyone that is coming here is our friends. We're all adults and happy that school is finally over." "Exactly. This may be the last thing we all get to do together." "What do you mean?" "Well you know how it works. We find jobs, have families, live lives, and that usually causes friends to grow apart."

(Y/N) sighed as he dropped the tree, "Look Akko, this is a world of magic and technology. Even if we all grow apart we can travel to each other every once in awhile, or we can talk to each other with phones. So don't worry about everyone growing apart. We will always hang out with each other." Akko sighed a little, "Yeah your right, I'm just stressed out about this party." "Well why don't you help me with this tree and we can decorate it like we used to." Akko smiled, "That sounds nice."

Akko helped (Y/N) bring the tree to the corner of the living room and set it up. (Y/N) got the box of ornaments to have the two start decorating the tree to make it look pretty. Akko put a bell on a branch, "I wonder what mom and dad are doing." "I think they went with my parents to Europe to catch up during Christmas. At least we get to use their house for a week." "Yeah, I guess."

Akko pulled out a big star, "Do you wanna put this on top of the tree?" "Nah, you should do it." (Y/N) helped Akko up to have her put the star on the tree. When Akko got back down she looked at the tree in delight as (Y/N) lightly elbowed her arm, "So what do you have planned for tonight?" "Oh well I though that we could all play some games, eat dinner, talk a bit, open all of our presents, eat dessert next, and then catch up some more. After that people could either leave it stay the night." "Sounds like a fun night." "Yes it does."

Someone knocked on the front door so Akko went to answer it as she looked back at (Y/N), "How is dinner coming along?" "Everything is just cooking now, it'll be done in half an hour." "Alright good." She then opened the door to reveal Aron, Amanda, and Lotto., "Hello Akko." "Hey guys come on in." They all walked in to put their coats on a rack and say hello to (Y/N) as well.

Later Sucy, Donny, Alice, and Xander who is Alice's boyfriend walked in as (Y/N) and Aron started a fire in the fireplace. Everyone settled down as Sucy, Akko, Aron, and Alice were playing a game of blackjack as Donny, Lotto, Xander, and Amanda was playing Mario Party. (Y/N) was watching them all as he leaned up against a wall until he heard someone knock on the door.

He went to open it to show Diana who walked in to take off her coat, "Sorry they I'm late. I got caught up in traffic." (Y/N) took it and put it on the rack, "It's fine. You weren't that late." "Well it seems like everyone is having fun." "Yeah, well I set something up for us." He led her to a small table in the living room as it has a game of chess set up making Diana smile, "Oh so you want to lose to make me feel better." "I may win this time?" "Your optimism is cute."

The two sat down to have (Y/N) with his elbows on his knees and his back slightly arched as Diana had her right leg over the other with her hands on her knee and her back strait. (Y/N) went first and later in their game (Y/N) took Diana's bishop, "I took something besides a pawn within seven turns, what is on your mind." "It's nothing, I'm just using a new strategy."

After a few minutes (Y/N) only had his king, a knight, his quenn, and a rook. Diana had her king, both rooks, a knight, and both bishops. (Y/N) used his knight to take out a bishop as Diana then used her room to take out the quenn as she then crossed her arms, "Checkmate." (Y/N) looked at the board as he thought of every outcome to come to the conclusion that she was right. He simply shrugged as he smiled, "Well at least I was close." "Yep, your getting better."

(Y/N) then stood up, "Well dinner should be done by now, I'll go start making everyone's plate." "I'll go tell everyone." In a few minutes everyone was eating the feast Akko and (Y/N) made and everyone loved it.  They all spent forty-five minutes they all had their code settled to where they all were now sitting together in the living room as they all opened gifts. Everyone loves all of the gifts they were given and was happy that what they got for the other person loved it.

After all the gifts were exchanged everyone are either apple or cherry pie that (Y/N) made. After a while (Y/N) finished his pie to go looking for Diana who was no where to be seen. He went into the guest room to find Diana sitting on the bed, "Oh (Y/N) what are you doing here." "I came looking for you." "Well I'm fine, go enjoy the party." (Y/N) then sat next to Diana, "Ok, what is on your mind. Your not acting like yourself."

Diana was silent for a second until she sighed, "You know how all of us are now out of school." "Yeah." "Well my mother told me that after I graduate I need to marry someone who owns a company. If I don't then my family will disown me." Diana leaned into (Y/N)'s chest as he held her, "But I don't want to lose you, I want to stay with you." (Y/N) stayed quiet until he smiled making Diana frown, "Why are you so happy?"

(Y/N) simply giggled, "Whoever was the top five in my schoolboy to take a partnership in an inventing business. Basically we rule the place when the main boss isn't around." "What are you saying?" "I own part of shows news like the place we first met." Diana's eyes lit up until she enveloped (Y/N) into a hug. (Y/N) hugged her back until he separated from her, "Alright I think now is a good time." "A good time for what?"

(Y/N) got off the bed to get on one knee as he reached into his pocket making Diana put her hands over her mouth. He pulled out a small box to do pen it revealing a diamond as he ask one simple question, "Diana Cavendish, will you marry me?" Diana simply nodded as she had tears I her eyes while she smiled, "Yes, one hundred times yes." (Y/N) got up to kiss Diana who kissed back and pulled him down onto the bed. Diana ended up spending the night in the guest room with (Y/N).
