The House Next to Me (R5 Horror Short Story)

Epilogue

"Thank you Los Angeles!" yells Riker after we all bow in front of the arena crowd. I take Ross' hand and we all run off the stage.

"That was an amazing last show guys! I can't believe we sold out an arena!" Rocky yells. I take out my in ears and set them aside as Ross loops his arms around my waist. I lean against the blonde haired boy.

"Thank you for making this night amazing, Taylor. If it wasn't for you joining the band we won't be here at all." Ross says to me.

"I bet you would have done something in the business without me, but thank you for saying that babe." I say to him. He starts lean in to kiss me. Oh my god! He's going to kiss me! I mean he never really had a meaningful kiss with me since the drama happened. I start to lean in too and our lips meet. They move in perfect harmony. The kiss was so passionate and gentle just the way Ross is. He slowly pulls away.

"Wow babe. I didn't you could kiss like that." I say to him as we walk back to the tour bus with the others.

"I can and wait until we get back home. I have more for you." Ross whispers in my ear. I blush and we step into the bus. We both sit on a couch in the main seating area. I lay head on his shoulder as he turns on the tv to watch a movie. The others comes in sit next to us all crowding around the big TV. I close my eyes as soon as Batman Begins starts.

1 Day Later

We are back at the Lynch's house now. I'm helping Ross grab some suitcases out of the bus for his brothers to carry in. I pick up the final case and set in down on the hot concrete. Riker grabs the case and walks in. Ross grabs my hand and we both walk in. I see a bright green wrapped box on the ground in the living room.

"What's this? I didn't remember grabbing this." I say as I walk towards it. Ross stands next to me as I open it. A little kitten is inside the box.

"Oh my god Ross! Did you get my kitten?!" I say to him with tears in my eyes. He nods and smiles at me. I quickly turn around and hug him tight. He hugs me back as I burst into tears.

I let go of him and pick up the white, fuzzy kitten and hold it in my arms. It starts to purr as I wipe my tears away.

"Thank you, Rossy."

"You're welcome Tay."

My life is finally perfect.
