Chapter 21: She's unconcious

Birds were chirping but Kartik was shouting louder than them.
Kartik: cupcake utho yaar. Last time utha raha hoon. Phir paani fekh dunga mujhe mat poochna phir.
She was rolled in the blanket only her hands were little out and her face was just visible.
Kartik found it suspicious that she didn't even move so he went forward and unwrapped the blanket. He was shocked by her body temperature. She was burning with fever. Her while body was numb and she was lying unconcious that's why she didnt wake up or else she would be up before everyone why wouldn't she, she was the most excited soul for her brothers wedding.
Kartik(worriedly shouting): bhabhi.....arya......maa.....somebody come fast....
He immediately threw the blanket away and opened all the curtains to let fresh air in. By now Arya came up running.
Arya: kartik what happen....god yeh abi thak nhi uthi..
Kartik(Choking): bhai she unconcious ...fever......she's burning...
Arya ran and sat next to her...
Arya: nandu baby utho....doll.....dekho bhai is here.....cupcakes dunga na getup doll.....maa....ishu......abhi......
Everyone ran to her room..
Preeti: aru kya hua....aur yeh janu so kyu rahi hai...jaanu...
Arya(teary eyes): she's unconcious......burning.....fever call sharma Uncle..
Abhi ran and got cold water strips and gave it to Preeti..
Ishika immediately called the doctor.
The decorators came and asked something.
Abhimanyu: Mumma  pooja baadh mai dekhenge pehle babydoll teekh hojaye.
Rohit: aaise nhi kehte beta just wait janu na bohuth strong dekh abi uth jayegi.
By now even Singhanias , Rajputs,Kapoors,....everyone were there expect for Fab5 and their parents who were coming with Mukti.
Aashika: pappa dad ap sab bajar jayiye please suffocation hoga. Nandu ko kuch nhi hoga.
She sprinkled some water on Nandini's face but there was no response.
Sharma(doctor): Aashi kya hua....move aside.
Aashika: uncle she's unconcious water sprinkle kiya phir bhi no response and fever is burning....
He did the necessary checking and also collected her blood sample. He later injected her and prescribed some medicines.
Sharma: don't worry Arya...there was too much in her head to handle and she couldn't cope up with the weather change. She'll be up in a while aur please feed her something.. kuch bhi she just needs energy. I've collected blood just to make sure nothing dangerous I'll call u in a while and it would be better if you postpone the pooja. She'll get worked up again. Such an excited soul .. any problem I'm just a call away don't hesitate take care.
Abhimanyu: sure uncle thank you and the pooja won't happen today.
Ajay went to drop him off..and inform the others about the postponing..

The other side everyone was up in Vardhans place but they were not yet ready as there was time for the pooja.
Cabir came running to the hall where everyone were sitting.
Cabir(panting+worried): guyss...Ajay called pooja is postponed Nandu is not well she's unconcious doctor abi check kar rhe hai..
Mukti: what kya hua usko..
Cabir: when kartik went to wake her up she was burning with fever and was lying unconcious..
Mukthi's dadi(MD): What..tho pooja kyun cancel kiya...woh ladki bimar hai tho nhi aayegi usmein kya hai..
Mukti: dadi bas she's unconcious ...aur Apko pooja ki padi hai..dad I'm leaving cabir let's go..
Manik: guys even I'm coming chalo.
Everyone including MD left to Murthy Mansion.
As soon as they entered Mukthi saw Abhimanyu sitting in the hall next to Sithara Naveli who was consoling him.
She ran to him and sat on her knees and cupped his face..
Mukti: abhi dont worry she'll be fine.
Abhi hugged her tightly and sniffed.
Abhimanyu: she never fell unconcious even if she has fever mujhe bohuth dar lag raha hai..
Mukti: She'll be fine baba maybe she was just over excited aur stress ke wajah se hua hoga. Come on she won't like you crying right.
He nodded and looked at her face.
Abhimanyu: I'm sorry for  cancelling the pooja today.
But before mukti could speak.
MD(shouting): Preeti Rohit kaha ho sab
Shreya Vardhan: maa ap shor math machayiye nandu so rahi hai.
MD: Shreya tum chup raho.
Manik, Abhi and Mukti ran upstairs as Rohit and Preeti came out listening to the shouts.
Preeti: namaste maaji. Shreya Anand sorry aaj tho nhi ho payega pooja.
Anand Vardhan: are pooja tho baadh main dekhenge pehle bachi cheekh hojaye bas hai.
MD: Rohit mujhe yeh ummid nhi thi uss ladki bimar padi tho meri beti ka pooja rok loge. Pooja abi hona chahiye. Wo ladki ko kuch bhi ho mujhe farak nhi padtha. Mujhe bas meri bacchi ka khushi chahiye woh ladki mar bhi jaye tho mujhe kya..
Abhimanyu(roared coming downstairs): bas...bas..out..get out  koun ho aap meri behan  ke bare main baath karne ke liye. aap hum sabse bade ho isiliye aapki baath manthe hai lekin yeh nhi ki aap meri behan pe ungli uthaye haan mujhe shadi se jyada pyaar meri behan se hai aur hamesha rahegi. Jaan hai wo meri. Uske wajah se zinda hoon. Maine usi din Mukti se kaha ki main shadi ke baad bhi aisa hi rahoonga. Main apne life partner se yeh umid karta hoon ki wo sirf mujhe nhi balki mere parivar se bhi pyaar kare aur Nandu ko utna hi pyaar kare jitna main karta hoon aur mukti bhi maan gayi.
Mukti: dadi kehne layak nhi hai aap meri sab kuch mai aapko problem mera kapde aur khane ko bhi nhi chodata mujhe padne keliye bhi roka ab meri shadi main chale kyun nhi jate aap meri zindagi se main Nandini ko sirf kehne keliye choti nhi bulati behan Manti hoon usse pyari bacchi hai who kya bigada hai wo apni. Please hath jodkar maangti hoon mere zindagi se chale jaye. Dad drop her at the airport.
Anand Vardhan: maa chaliye aapko mai  chodke aatha hoon.
MD(shocked): Anand
Anand Vardhan:  bas maa bas voh muh math kholiye kya kiya meri beti wo sirf bimar padgayi aur ap kya kya bath kar rahi ho. Aap gaav chale jao. Chaliye.
Dhruv bring her bags and drop her to the airport.  Tell her that ramu( random caretaker in their village) will pick her from the airport.
There was pin drop silence and Dhruv walked out with MD and dhruvs parents also went with him to handle MD.
Anand thumped onto the sofa. Aditi brought water for him and they managed to calm everyone down after sometime.
They heard Arya shout from upstairs: maa......pappa.......Abhi....come fast.
They ran upstairs but this time they careful not to block.
They saw nandini was up and was in her big bros embrace but they couldn't see her face.
Preeti: jaanu baccha ur fine right.
Nandini( pale face): main theek hoon mumma.. bhaiyyu PANI chahiye.
He immediately made her drink water.
Nandini: guys I'm fine why are you all standing like this main theek hoon see.
She tried cheering them up and they smiled at her efforts.
Nandini: mukku bhabhi aap abi thayyar nhi huyi pooja hai jaldi jayiye naa..
Mukti: choti bas ab so jaa baki hum baad mai baat karenge.
Nandini turned to Anirudh who was standing in a corner and they conversed through their eyes to which he nodded in no in a stern way.
Abhimanyu: bas doll koi help nhi karega. You're fine na?? You scared me so much babydoll... Don't leave me. Please...
He hugged her tightly crying his heart out by now everyone were already out except a few.
Nandini also started crying and her headache  started increasing.
Abhimanyu: sh...Shhh.......bas baby chup enough font cry see bhaiyyu hain na aru hai mumma pappa mamu mami chachi chachu sab hai tho kyun ro rahi ho bas ab.
Nandini(teary eyes and cracked voice): bhaiyyu sar dard ho raha hai bohuth its paining..nhi ho raha hai mujse...
Preeti entered the room with hot khichdi and sat next to nandini.
Preeyi: bas jaanu rona nhi ab khana khake so jao aur phir dekhna headache bhag jayega...
Nandini still nodded her head in no not wanting to eat but they made her eat and she slept due to the effect of medicines..
Then they all left the room after some time but Aditi and aliya stayed back to take care of her..
