After days of trying to figure out why we're here, why he is here, we've finally uncovered something. Nat learned how to hack while being detected while he was still in the day shift. The only problem is that with our low tech palmis, the hack takes days. On top of that, it's like sticking your hand in a jar of marbles and randomly picking out a handful of them. That being said after about 3 random pulls we got lucky. Charles' name came up. The document doesn't say much but it does let us know why he disappeared.
"Due to the uncover of classified information by hack, Mr. Charles has to be removed from the team." is exactly what the document says. Finally something makes sense! Charles learned something that they didn't want him to know, he demanded answers and so they took him out! Just like they've been taking all the other scientists out! Each one probably figured out something that The Company didn't want them to know and they removed them so that the other didn't get wise.
In other news, I'm extremely thankful for Nat. Before I had a partner, no, a friend, the time at The Company passed by slowly. A creek bubbling not so merrily along. After Nat joined me that creek turned into a river. Loud, current strong, always bursting forth towards the next big thing. Now that I'm getting a few answers it doesn't feel like I'm just waiting to die of old age while working for The Company. Or like I'm waiting to be collected fro putting all this information down on paper. Things are finally starting to seem like they're going up.
