I woke up this morning to Brooke bursting through the door. "MOLLY GET UP LAZY BUM" She yelled making me fall off the bed by accident.
I got up rubbing my bum lightly "Ooowwww.... Brookie. Why did you do that? It hurt!" I pouted crossing my arms. She was standing in the door laughing like a maniac. I'm surprised Nurse Maddison hasn't came in yet.
Right as I though that Maddison walked in after giving Brooke a weird look she came and picked me up like a little baby.
"Hey babe. What did Brooke over there do this mornin that's got you on the floor and her in laughter?" She said smiling as her dimple popped out.
Maddison is like the mom I never had. I mean, I had a mom but once she found out about my cancer as gave me up.
I guess I should introduce myself. I'm Molly Malik. Yeah same last name as Zayn Malik but we aren't related. Anyways!!! I'm 10 years old and I have leukemia. I am 4'5 very short but the cancer stunted my growth.
Brooke Rector is my best friend in the world. She is 17, yes 10 years older but we have similar stories so we just clicked. She had cancer but is currently in recovery. She's been there for me since I was 7. It's almost been 3 years. She was 15 when she was diagnosed. She had stage 2 leukemia. Same as me. But pretty tall, she is 5'4. That's tall for a kid who has had cancer.
Now we go to nurse Maddison. She is currently 32, single and has no kids. She is like mine and Brooke's mom. She has been my nurse since I've been here and Brooke's since she was 15 1/2. She loved us and we love her.
Now back to the story.
"She woke me up by screaming! And it made me fall out of my bed." I was still pouting as Maddison brought me to the bathroom that connected mine and Brooke's rooms. She helped me into the bathtub and Brooke sat on the counter and began the story why she bursted into my room.
"Welllll... I was watching TV this morning and I saw that One Direction is coming to Arizona and since your a fan I was thinking about getting us tickets to it. But then they said that they were going to be on a vacation while their here and they are going to visit cancer wards and....." She kept going on as Maddison was listening intently waiting for me to finish in the tub. I stopped listening... Whoops. Sorry I have a short attention span.
"Maddie I'm done!" I said and she got me out and got me my favorite clothes.
Maroon colored sweater with black leggings and brown boots. I only get this outfit when something bad is happening.

"Molly, I'm sorry to tell you this honey but...... We don't know how much longer you have. You can get better or worse. We aren't sure at this point." Dr. Roger told me as Brooke held my hand silent tears flowing down her cheeks.
