You woke up with the sound of a siren you faintly recognize it from a bomb of some sorts. You cover your ears with your hands and walk across the room to turn it off. As you press the button you see GLaDOS approaching the door.
"Hello Y/N, I have recognised that humans need sustainince to survive. I have brought Aperature Science nutrient bran." She pointed at the wall as a tube came out and dispensed cereal into a blue bowl.
As you walked towards it you realized how hungry you are. It only took minutes for you to eat all of it. Suddenly an elevator came down from the ceiling. GLaDOS stepped in, so you followed her you were in the next chamber. (Top Pic)
You had to guide a lazer to power an elevator while jumping across 4 platforms. If you fell you would melt in toxic acid. GLaDOS already set up a portal to the platform with the lazer and you picked up the guiding cube. You felt good for immediately solving the test in your head. Now all you had to do is complete it in real life.
Suddenly you tripped on the edge!
You were splayed across two platforms and your legs can't hold on. GLaDOS was on the other side of the room. Strangely she seemed to be shocked too, but you had an idea!
You shot your portal gun to the side of the platform and while hanging on by one hand you swung yourself into the portal GLaDOS was rushing over but you were already safe. She looked like she almost hugged you but stopped herself. You realized your long fall boots were singed just from the fumes. A very unfriendly reminder to yourself to be alert at all times.
"Are you ok Y/N" GLaDOS sounded scared, like I was terribly injured. "Im fine, not even a scratch, see? I showed her that the boots protected my feet from melting. She sighed, looking like somone took a weight off her shoulders. And led me to the exit.
