Chapter 3

Today, that was a week after Salim's arrival; Black was to meet with Dim in Dim's office which was deep inside one of the most successful restaurant in Mexico,

"this better be good Dim" Black said on arriving with Tiger by her side and other guards outside, she entered the office in her Black mamba like walk, which was Majestic but yet a bit quick if she wants it to,

today she wore a navy blue palazzo pants that was high waist and a bra like top that was cream then an open and a line knee length blazer which has long sleeves but was just draped on her shoulder without wearing the sleeves, Salim was eager to see her today when Dim told him she was coming over today, he even planned on talking to her today. Black sat down and continued typing on her phone,

"Oh come on B, you know I like having you around even without any a business, it's a pity you don't seem to enjoy my company like I do yours" he said with a little pout, she gave him a look with a raised eyebrow,
"Fine, I have a business, it's huge" he said
"Let me guess, the carats of gold shipment coming from Costa Rico" she said sounding unbothered

"Just like always nothing pass by your nose" Dim said dramatically sounding disappointed
"Yes, if you keep to daily news you will know it was stolen from a German mining company, it was on o train heading to another state for sales, and now it's in Costa Rico, planning on coming to Mexico"

"Fine, bla and bla, am high jacking the shipment, I have everything ready, and I just need the usual" Dim said with pride,
"Hijacking isn't your thing" she said
"There is always a starting point" he said rolling his eyes
"then not this time, because am getting them gold"
"Black" he exclaimed
"I am, and guess what; I will give you 20% of it and tell you how it goes down"
"Well that's fair" he said a nod and he shrugged
"I know" she dryly said, just when a man of his came in and whispered in his ear, he nodded, excused himself and went out,

Salim's eyes were trained on her the whole time, "so did you tell him" she suddenly asked out loud, without looking up at him
Salim was baffled, "who me, what, tell him what"
"That you in the military" she answered sounding nonchalantly, Salim was cut unawares but he did well to hide his shock and said "I was, I got kicked out"
"Dim is always oblivious of things around him, it's always a wonder how he manage to not be in jail or dead" she murmured but to Salim's hearing
"Had some dirt, on me, I could say you know how things down in Nigeria are, but you wouldn't know Nigeria since you aren't from there I presume"
"I see, where do you think I am from Mr. Hamdan, let's see if you are good in the guessing because I am" she said looking up at him and with a smirk and that mischievous glint,

he also smirked and said "well melanin skin, average height, amazing body shape, so I will say its Africa but can't say where precisely, but am thinking Ethiopia or Morocco, they have beautiful girls there", Black shook her head and shrugged, "nice try" and then continued with her phone
"So will you tell me where you from"
"Heaven" she said with a shrug,
"I believe you"
"You shouldn't, you might end up getting hurt"
"Hurt" he asked with a raised eyebrow and she ignored him
"But how did you know I was in the military"
"Stiffness and more" she dryly said
"Smart"
"but I feel like I know you, and I assure you it's not a good thing, and I know you meeting Dim isn't just what you said, I feel you are here for me, and my feelings are always right, so be careful, I hate to find you guilty and have to hurt that innocent face of yours" she said in a calm and yet a mocking way
"A threat" he asked"
"You still have parts of your body intact, so it's not a threat, plus you are a cutie so it's an advice" she said with an evil grin, just when Dim came in,

"Black I heard you killed one of the brothers" he asked as he sat down
"one of them, saved the gay one till I get bored again, and they planted a cheap bomb in my favorite car, who does that", Salim was shocked at the revelation and there and then it sank in him that Lailah was not the Lailah he knew, the Lailah he knew was so sweet that she couldn't hurt a life
"You killed their father" Dim said
"He sleeps with little girls of 10, who does that"
"Wait was that why, everyone thought it was because of some rivalry thing or he raided you or maybe killed someone of yours or worse tried to kill you" Dim asked
"you heard wrong" she said now sounding bored and stood up, "bye" she dryly said and walked out with tiger right behind her. In the car tiger was typing in a laptop, as he talks to her but her mind drifted a bit
