Young Lissa Jones was in First Grade with a boy named Mathew Harper. One faithful day, at recess, Lissa discovered she has a strange ability, talking to bees. She began talking to one about nature and trees and whatnot. Mathew caught her talking to it and yelled, '' Look, everyone, Lissa is crazy! She's talking to a puny bee! '' Everyone began to laugh. '' I'm not crazy! You are! '' Lissa said. Laughs roared throughout the playground. Daisy ( Lissa's bestie ) stands up and screams, '' Shut your mouths you dumbos! My friend isn't crazy at all! '' Everybody walked away and said not another word.
