Eddie:
Wow... here I was thinking he felt the same but...

He really doesn't...

Stan and Bill stand there in shock of what happened. I run to my bike and begin to ride home, but then I saw a trail of droplets... and they went in Richie's direction. Was he crying? I had to make sure he was ok... even though he made my heart break into thousands of pieces. I follow the trail but it begins to rain, I start stressing and eventually I give up.
Nothing works for me
NOTHING
I.. need to relax.. so I ride to the quarry. When I arrive I see a familiar bike there... Richie?

I see Richie topless standing in the rain, looking down at the water. Incorrectly jumping could kill you. I realise why he came here. Before I know what I'm doing I scream at him.
"RICHIE, DON'T"

I cover my mouth with my hands as he turns around.
"What the hell are you doing here?" He snapped. His eyes were red and puffy, his arms were covered in scars , old and new.
I begin to cry, seeing Richie like this was too much for me.
"I... I..."
All words escape me at this minute. His face falls from angry to sad.
"Eddie, I didn't mean to yell, I'm so sorry."
I run to him and hug him, his body is warm, it makes me feel safe.
"E-Eddie..?"
"It's ok Richie..."
I look up at him and he was blushing, I realised he wanted me to let go... well I thought that's what he wanted. I pull away from the hug and look down at the ground. He then pulls me back and wraps his arms around me. We stay like that for a long time, I didn't want to pull away, it just felt right.... but after a while Richie pulled away and looked at me.
He grabbed my shoulders as a tear fell down his cheek. The rain was pouring down and Richie looked like he jut got out of a shower.
"Eddie, I a-a-am so s-sorry..." He chokes on his words.
"Stop," I put my finger over his lips "stop saying sorry, it's ok." I reassured him.

He looks at me smiling. Our faces are getting closer and closer to each other. I realise whats happening and I pull away,

He coughs and awkwardly scratches the back of his head.
"Come to my house," I say, "I'll clean up those." I nodded towards Richie's scars.
Richie nodded, half smiling.
He gets on his bike, not bothering to put his shirt on. I pick it up and throw it around my neck and begin to ride, Richie following closely behind.
