She braced herself for the magic that she knew oh so very well, it was the magic that had saved her many times before. Who would've thought that said magic would be aimed at her one day. She sure didn't. Yet here she was, bracing herself with her eyes shut closed and her body tense, waiting for the red roar of fire that was approaching her.

For the past month or so, Lucy had been getting attacked by magic from the guilds—from the people she used to call her friends. At some point, she had gotten used to it and would just wait for it to be done with. She had decided that after the S-class trials, she was going to quit; it wasn't worth being apart of Fairy Tail after everything that happened throughout the past month.

Right now, they were on the island after defeating hades. Natsu's attack was meant for hades but she knew that he was also aiming for her. Not only did they attack her with magic, they also kicked her off team Natsu and would verbally abuse her and call her weak.

By now she was fed up with it; she knew she was weak, that's why she trained in private, trying to get stronger with her spirits. Now, she could use five golden keys at once and keep their gates open for longer. She could also use a star dress for each of her zodiac spirits.

"Run away brats!" Makarov yelled after getting captured by the dark dragon. Of course, no one would let their 'family' die like that or not help them. But Lucy knew that if this was her, they wouldn't second guess running away—well, Wendy and Mira would.

While fighting Achnologia, when he was about to use a breath attack, all of them formed a circle—more hesitant to let Lucy join—and put up all defensive magic they had, not knowing the First Master (whose grave they were trying to find) was watching all of it.

"My dear children, how could you do this to one of your nakama." The short female asked herself, seeing what they did to the female celestial mage.

Mavis knew the blonde didn't deserve this, she has been watching her the entire time--wishing she could help. Oh how she desperately wanted to help. . . but alas, she couldn't, her body and power was still restrained on the island. So she waited and waited until Lucy finally came to Tenroujima to finally be able to help.

To finally send her somewhere that wouldn't cause her pain.

Somewhere where she could finally be happy again. She owed at least that much to the celestial wizard.

"My child, I will give you a chance to restart your life, sending you somewhere far, far away so that you wouldn't have to face these mages anymore."

Mavis moved Lucy out of the Fairy Sphere and set her inside a flower with the fairy tail insignia on it. "Be free my child," she whispered as she set it afloat the ocean sea, adding a bit of her magic in to make it go into another world.

She prepared this flower in advance and prepared the world she would send Lucy too after doing thorough research of a variety of them.

Lucy at least deserved that much.

In an instant, she vanished from the waterbed in a light golden glow and appeared in the middle of a battle field with the same soft glow.

The ones around her stopped in their tracks, putting their fight with a medium on hold, looking at the mysterious flower with a weird symbol on it, that came out of a weird golden light--the light that compelled them to go towards it for reasons they don't understand. Not having any time to find out what it was now, they decided to wait until after their battle to see what it was and if it was a threat or not, ugnoring the tugging feeling in their chests.

However, the 'thing' inside said flower stirred a little at the loud noise from outside of it. It realized immediately that it wasn't on Tenrou Island anymore and was somewhere far, far away. Confused as to where it was, familiar words rang through her head.

"Restart your life and be free my child."

Lucy smiled softly at the words and knew that whoever this person was, gave her a chance at a new beginning and because of that, she would forever be thankful to this mysterious benefactor.
