Chapter 60

I wake up on Monday with all the energy, ready to start a new week. I take a bath, and get ready for collage. As alway I wait for Jen in the kitchen stools.

"I'm done! I'm going!" I hear Jen yelling and that's my cue to grabbing her and my bag. I open the door and wait for her in the entrance. "I'm here!" She yells taking her bag from my hand. "Ready let's go!" We walk to school and both talk about any stupid thing that can cross your mind. I'm dying to ask about James, but I'm sure she's dying as to ask me about Shawn, as well. I know that by less than the week we are gonna tell each other our little secret. At school everything goes on like usual. After school I go walk home with Jen, and once again we try to ignore the elephant in the room. Shawn calls me and we have a small small talk, he asks about my day, I ask about his, both just say it was a good day, he then asks about my plans for today and I tell him there's no interesting plans for today, with that being said he wishes me a good rest of the day, I do too, and we both promise to stay in touch. By 4 in the afternoon Brooke calls us saying she needs help with deciding some stuff about the wedding, so we tell her to come. By 5 and a half Brooke and Lya arrive with burgers. By 6 Brooke, Lya, Jen and I were done with the wedding decisions and we're now gossiping while eating burgers.

"Okay now!" Exclaims Lya putting away all the trash. "You have some explaining to do!" She says pointing at me.

"What are you talking about?" I chuckled acting as I didn't know what she was saying.

"You know what I'm talking about" She smirked at me.

"You mean Shawn don't you?" I ask her going straight to the point. That doesn't mean I'm gonna tell her, but I'll save us minimum an hour in time, instead of just playing dumb and wasting at least an hour in this game.

"Oh right! I forgot about Shawn!" Says Brooke sitting closer to me.

"Look I'll be honest with you guys." I start my speech with my fingers crossed behind my back. "I wish there was something to tell you, but sadly there isn't."

"Oh come! You can't say there's nothing going on between you too!" Teased Lya, and I just shaked my head at her, and that's when I noted Jen. She was sitting and just looking, not joking or teasing me. She really has some crap to hide.

"Didn't Jen found you two eating each other during the weekend?" Smirks Brooke at me and then looks at Jen for her confirmation. But before she can say anything I answer her question.

"Yeah, but I stopped him before anything else could happen, and I think he got mad." I say acting all shy.

"Why would he get mad?!" Exclaims Lya all mad, and I know I mad the wrong call. I have to be careful with what I say. I don't want them hating on Shawn, for something he didn't even do.

"Because of how I stopped him. But he's not mad mad, he still answers my texts and everything." I mumble hoping they will buy it.

"How the hell did you stopped him?" Laughs Lya.

"I don't really want to say." I stammered, hoping they'll leave it there, and also thinking of a way to stop a guy that will make him a justified angry.

"But he isn't angry anymore right?" Asks Brooke getting closer to me.

"No, he's fine now. We have been texting but he leaves next week for his tour so maybe I won't be able to see him in a while. He said he'd see if he has a chance to meet up."

"Hey! Tell him that we'll meet on Wednesday! At James' place!" Yelled Lya out of nowhere.

"We're meeting at James' place on Wednesday? Why didn't you told me?" I ask offended and looking at everyone, waiting for an answer.
