Chapter 20

"Wind Release: Beast Wave!"

It blew her to the air, then I sped to her and kicked her gut. She caught my leg and pulled me, then punched my face. I landed on the ground. She stepped in front of me.

"You are quite good for a Genin." She hissed.

"You are not bad yourself." I said.

This isn't good. I have taken a lot of time, I'm already out of breath. My chakra is depleting. We have fought for about an hour now. Her skill.. She is as good as dad. Almost better. Or she is.

"Earth Release: Swamp of the Underworld."

The ground around her turned into mud and she sunk inside.

"Earth Release: Bedrock Coffin."

The ground crushed her and I stood there waiting for an attack, doubting I can beat her easily. I felt a kick on my back. I flew forward and hit a tree. I stand on my knees and she vanished. W-What?!

"Behind you." I turned and she punched my face.

"Arghh!!" I fell on my back. I'm panting heavily.

"Who are you? Based on your skills, I'm sure you are Jounin level. Or higher. What do you want?" I growled.

"Quite an intelligent one.." She said.

When I took a good look at her, her skin seemed to peel off.

"W-What's beneath the skin?" I asked.

"I sssssee you noticccced. To congratulate you for noticccing, I am Orochimaru. I'm sssssure you heard of me from ssssssomewhere." She changed her voice into a man's.

Orochimaru... "The sannin?!?" I asked, shocked.

"Sakura-chan! I'm coming to save you!" Naruto yelled.

"NO NARUTO! STAY OUT OF THIS!" I warned in panic. He stood in front of me stubbornly.

"Please, you don't know what you are up against." I tried to grab Naruto, but a hand held me back.

"Sasuke?"

"Let him. He wants to fight and you know he won't back down" He said and I nodded.

Sasuke carried me to a safer place as we watched the battle between Naruto and Orochimaru. Naruto.. I was worried as hell.

When they fought, I sensed an unfamiliar chakra from Naruto. It was red. Can it be?? The Nine Tailed Fox??

Sasuke and I watched in fear. What if it's released? I thought.

But soon enough, Orochimaru sealed it.

"Five Part Seal!"

I don't know whether I should be glad that the Nine Tailed Fox is safe for now.. Or should I worry about there is no one here who can stop Orochimaru..

Orochimaru threw Naruto away and I ran to catch him.

"NARUTO!" I yelled.

I caught him and lay him down at somewhere safe. When I looked back, Sasuke is battling with Orochimaru.

Goddammit! I'm not strong enough! I can't protect them! URGH! I mentally cursed myself and punched the ground. I watched Sasuke fight with Orochimaru. He is doing quite well, but not good enough.

After I regained some of my chakra and strength back, I rushed into the battle to help Sasuke. I can't let him fight Orochimaru alone! Suddenly, I thought of something.

I can use it now, and you will be my first victim..Orochimaru.. I smirked.
