Jacob had a hell of a time covering the hickeys on his neck, for work the next day. Troye giggled as he applied makeup to help. Work then seemed to drag on forever, and after work Jacob ran home, picked up some belongings, and went back to Troye's house to spend the night. Troye made Jacob dinner, again, and then the two made their way to the bedroom, had sex and then showered before it was time for bed. Jacob decided he could totally get use to this new routine and ultimately followed the same pattern the following two nights as well.

However, when Friday rolled around, Jacob was bummed as he remembered he was having people over for dinner. Troye had insisted it was fine and that he should probably check in with Eric anyways. Jacob promised to come by later in the night, despite how late it might be and Troye agreed to the plan.

And so Jacob found himself, in his kitchen with Jed, Hari, Angie, and Adam discussing things that Jacob could care less about. Instead of being an active member in the conversation, Jacob pretty much had his nose buried in his phone. Troye kept sending him selfies and random photos. At one point Jacob placed his phone down to answer the door for takeout and as soon as he came back in Jed said, "So you're talking to Troye Mellet again?"

"You're what?" Angie nearly shouted.

Jacob looked at Jed in question and Jed pointed at Jacob's phone.

Jacob sighed.

"Wait, how did I miss this?" Hari asked, "I thought you didn't exchange numbers at the reunion?"

"We didn't," Jacob sighed, "it's a long story. Don't worry about it."

"Don't worry about it?" Angie spit out, "He's trash, Jacob and you're a grown adult, you can't seriously think it's ok to consider any sort of relationship with him, right?"

Jacob glared at Angie.

"Tell me you're just friends," Angie demanded.

"I don't know, Angie. Do friends fuck?"

"WHAT?!?" Hari squealed, "Spill now, Bix."

"So that is makeup on your neck there trying to hide a hickey?" Jed asked, "didn't think it looked right..."

Jacob walked over to the mirror and looked at his neck, "Troye tried to fix it," he smiled softly, "it's getting better so hopefully by Monday..."

"Is this a joke?" Angie said fuming. "None of you better encourage this either. Please tell me that..." Jacob's phone then vibrated with a text and Angie immediately picked it up. She groaned when she looked at the phone. "You are seriously texting him," Angie said.

Jacob nodded.

"Are you seriously fucking him too?" Hari asked.

"Yep," Jacob replied.

"I can't fucking stand this," Angie lamented. She walked to the counter and picked up her purse.

Jacob laughed, "Are you seriously leaving?"

Angie turned and she had tears in her eyes, "I just want you to be happy and find someone you can settle down and start a family with. You deserve the world, Jacob. And that boy has never been anything but a problem."

"I can't believe you are crying over this. You don't know Troye. Give him a chance," Jacob sighed.

"Jacob, your reunion wasn't even a week ago and you're already having sex with him!"Angie nearly shouted. "Mom is going to be so upset," Angie added through sniffles.

"Oh come on, Angie. Don't go running to mom and tell on me like a child. Let me talk to her about Troye and I."

"So are you guys like together, together?" Jed piped in.
