"I just don't want to be with you anymore, Danielle." Sapo slammed his hands down on the counter and his girlfriend of four years cried.
"I don't understand why, everything was going so good." The girl sobbed.
Everything had been okay, until this morning. Sapo confessed he had been around with some other girl, he was leaving Danielle for her.
"Danielle, this isn't your fault, we just aren't meant to be. There's nothing to understand."
"No, there is something to understand. We've been together for four years, Ezekiel and you're just gonna leave me for some girl you've known for two months? fuck outta here." Danielles face turned red.
"But for those four years we were on and off." He tried to make it better, he genuinely didn't want her to hurt.
"Because you always left me to be with some other girl. You don't understand how much you matter to me. These bitches won't do shit for you, back when you didn't have a car i'd get up and walk to you, when you had no money who made sure you were eating, when your abuela was struggling to pay the prophets taxes who helped, huh? Because i know it wasn't these bitches, Sapo." Danielles voice cracked every other word as she screamed.
"I don't know what you want me to say."
"You never know, but one thing you do need to know is if you walk out that door Sapo, were over, there is no coming back or apologies." Danielle tied her hair back.
With that Sapo stood up from where he was sitting on the counter and tried to walk past Danielle, only to be forcefully pushed.
She pushed and fought him the whole way out, she wanted to hurt him like he hurt her but no amount of physical pain could amount.
As she slammed the door behind him, she walked back into the kitchen to clean up when she heard a car, cuetes car.
She looked out the window to see Sapo get in and the girl he left her for , Paula climb into his lap.
Sapo looked at her through the window one more time.
His eye watered as he tried to ignore the strange pain in his chest, something told him that this time, she wouldn't take him back if he tried.
