Chapter 6: Birthday Gift

One day Emma woke up and thought about something that could change her life,in a good,or in a bad way forever. She wasn't sure if it was the safest thing to do,but she sure knew it's what she wanted to do it.

She texted Luke "Hey I was just thinking that it would be really neat to fly on a plane and meet each other! Do you wanna do that?"

Emma knew she defiantly would not be able to afford a plane ticket to travel,so she would probably have to look into getting a good paying job. And how is it even gonna be possible to meet him when Emma's mom doesn't even know she's been talking to him!?

"Yes! That would be so much fun! Maybe you would like to stay at my place for maybe a week? ;)" replied Luke.

Emma felt extremely anxious to meet him. She left her laptop on her bed and ran upstairs and went to the kitchen and grabbed a bag of plain potato chips and some dip to snack on. Then she went back downstairs,grabbed her laptop and went back upstairs and sat on the couch. She sat there for about 15 minutes until her mom arrived home. She walked in the front door and put her stuff down on the counter.

"How are you? What are you up to?" Her mom asked happily.

"Oh you know,just texting one of my friends!" Giggled Emma.

"And who would that be? ;)" asked Emma's mom impatiently.

"Luke! He's one of my friends that I met through this account! He's really cool. And I would like to ask you something,come sit down over here." Demanded Emma.

Emma's mom sat on the couch next to Emma. Emma told her mom everything about Luke, His features, his address, the way he talks, his everything. She told her mom that they've been dating and that she is so in love with Luke. She was really nervous to ask the big question...finally she worked up the nerve and asked.

"Since my birthdays coming up in about a month, do you think I could get a plane ticket and fly up to meet him?! Please please please mom!" Pleaded Emma nervously.

"Hm I don't know, it's probably not a very safe idea, he could be a 60 year old creep for all you know! I will think about it though.." Replied Emma's mom.

Emma was so excited that she might get a chance to meet him. She texted Luke that her mom said maybe for her birthday, and Luke's parents even said yes.

*Time skips forward*

Well today is Emma's birthday. She's so excited that her mom might have bought her the plane ticket she's been wanting. Finally her mom said "Emma come here!" Emma ran upstairs and looked at her mom. Her mom was smiling back at her. Here I have your birthday gift. Emma's mom handed her the plane ticket. Emma jumped up and down,and even screamed. Then she cried tears of joy. She ran and hugged her mom so tight. Then said "thank you,thank you,thank you!!!! I love you so much!" Then Emma's mom smiled.

Emma ran downstairs and quickly texted Luke that her mom bought her a plane ticket. Emma was gonna be leaving in a week. She packed her stuff,a lot of clothes,shoes,toothbrush,brush,perfume,makeup..well basically her whole room. She was so excited. Luke was more than ready to see her.
