Olivia joined her husband for his hearing, and as she waited outside of the courtroom while Trevor and Rita talked, Angie showed up with her fiance. They walked in together, holding hands tightly. Olivia swallowed hard as she kept her eyes down.
"Olivia, what are you doing here?" Angie asked. Olivia finally looked up and saw Trevor's ex-best friend and a partner at his firm which made this even more awkward. Olivia hadn't known.
"Uh, I'm here to support my husband... Andrew, I didn't know you were the one he beat up..." Olivia frowned.
"Well, he's going to go to jail for what he did. He deserves it." Andrew spoke, as he pointed at the bruise on his cheek. Olivia was wondering if one punch had been thrown because Andrew only had one bruise on his face.
"He only hit you once." Olivia breathed quietly.
"What? No." Andrew spat. Olivia shook her head before standing and looking at him.
"I don't have the right to tell you to drop this or tell the truth, but I have seen the results of someone getting their ass kicked. And unless you have bruises under your clothes, my husband punched you once. You want to take him away from me and our kids because you want Ember all to yourself. Well, Ember doesn't want to leave. She doesn't like the idea of this all, and she won't want to leave her sisters, her baby brother, and whatever this baby ends up being." Olivia spoke. Angie's eyes went wide because she hadn't known about the baby, and now she was jealous.
The courtroom door opened, and Trevor walked out. He stopped for a second before grabbing his wife's hand.
"Rita said we have about 20 minutes before court starts... let's go for a walk," Trevor spoke. He kissed Olivia's hair before moving her past Andrew and Angie.
"You only hit him once," Olivia whispered as they moved towards the elevator.
"It was self-defense, Liv. He pulled a knife."

Trevor kept the information about the knife from his wife to make sure she didn't get scared, but now she knew and planned on getting Andrew in trouble.
"So you tried to go there and talk to him, but then he pulled a knife on you?" Olivia asked as she paced the sidewalk in front of the courthouse.
"Liv-"
"Tell me the truth." She warned. Trevor raked his fingers through his hair before speaking again.
"I went to the office to yell at him. He knew that I had been looking into who was engaged to Angie, and he didn't tell me. So I bitched him out and when I told him that he and Angie wouldn't be getting nights with Ember because she'd be uncomfortable, he pulled a knife out of his pocket and threatened to stab me with it if I didn't give in and give them complete custody of Ember. So I punched him once and he called the cops. Liv, I didn't want to hurt him... but he could have stabbed me." Trevor spoke. Olivia looked at him for a moment before taking a shaky breath.
"All offices have cameras, right?" Olivia asked.
"Yeah, but-"
"I'm going to get that video and you won't even get in trouble. So I'll be like 10 minutes. I promise." Olivia spoke. She stopped pacing and wrapped her arms around her husband before hugging him tightly, then she got on her tiptoes and kissed her husband's lips softly.
"Liv, we have barely any time before court starts!" Trevor exclaimed, as his wife quickly went running down the sidewalk. Trevor's office was only a few blocks away, and Olivia was thankful this was happening when she was earlier in her pregnancy because she could still run without a problem.
"I'll be back soon! I promise!"

Olivia called Rita once she got to the office and she and an officer came down and retrieved the video. They managed to get an extra 15 minutes, and that was used to watch the video and talk to the ADA about the fact he didn't have a case. Trevor was just defending himself since Andrew had truly pulled a knife out on him.
After court, Olivia and Trevor walked out together after getting an apology from the court. They stood off to the side and kissed softly before Trevor hugged his wife tightly.
"Thank you for doing this for me, Liv... it means a lot to me." Trevor breathed.
"Trevor, I couldn't let you go to jail for something you didn't do. Andrew is an asshole." Olivia spoke. She rested her head against her husband's chest before hearing someone clear their throat. Olivia turned her head a bit and looked to see Angie standing there.
"Can we talk?" She asked.
"Uh, I'll leave you two-" Olivia started, but Angie cut her off.
"No. Uh, I need to talk to both of you. Because you two are more Ember's parents than I am." Angie breathed.
"You are still her mother, Angie." Olivia breathed, as she stepped away from her husband.
"She calls you 'Momma', and she calls me Mother... but I think she needs to stop seeing me," Angie spoke.
"What? Angie... she loves you. She can't have you abandon her once again." Trevor breathed.
"I chose Andrew over my daughter... I was going to move in with him without even talking to her. So I want to give her some space and let her come to me when she's ready. I don't want to force her." Angie whispered.
"Why didn't you believe Trevor?" Olivia asked, and Angie swallowed hard.
"I love Andrew, even if he lied about the whole situation... he's always been the one for me... and I'm sorry I cheated on you with him while we were still married... but I still love him," Angie spoke. Trevor frowned before nodding slowly.
"Just leave then. I'll break the news to Em." Trevor grumbled before moving away. Olivia stayed put as she looked at her husband's ex.
"Angie, don't abandon your child. Even if I see her almost every day and love and care for her... she's still your kid. She still loves you and wants to talk to you. So please, just think about Ember before getting married to a man that pulled a knife on Trevor."
