5 Years later
"Emily, Luke, dinner!"
I finish setting the table and I go clean up quickly. Luke and Emily come down and sit at the tabke. I sit next to Emily and we start to eat.
"Yummy!"
I smile hearing her cheerful voice. She was a blessing in our lives. A few years ago we adopted Emily and it has by far been the best experience i had. She was one of the only people who kept Luke and I striving to live. Yesterday was the day that marked the day that Jai was killed and I rescued the love of my life and my friend. To this day I still blame myself for everything that has happened. I wish I would have saved them earlier. But at the same time I am happy that at least Jai is in a better place and I am with the ones I love. Hannah became the assistant manager at the company and I got promoted to supervisor. Even though all these events happened, I could never be happier in my life. I am blessed to be alive and with my family.
