HEY I HEARD YOU WERE A WILD ONE -" Sia screeched at the top of her lungs out of my pink Beats pill. I was in the kitchen of the pack house , decorating .

I sang along as I put the finishing touches on my wreath , I gave it a last , satisfactory glance before hanging it on the wall next to the fridge . I was unraveling the red lace ribbon when our Beta , Logan appeared .

" Miranda , please turn it down . We're having a meeting ." he said , giving me a exhausted look. His brown hair flopped into his eyes , giving him a attractive , feral image .

" When are you going to be done ? Heath said he'll take me out after ." I asked , climbing down from the ladder . I was filled with excitement , my boyfriend promised me to take me out to the park later .

" The Alpha will be down here shortly ." he said curtly . I nodded and got scissors , snipping the ribbon. He stared at me for a few seconds .

" What ?" I asked , not looking up .

He shook his head and went over to the Pill. He turned it down and disappeared out of the kitchen . "Stereo Hearts" started to play .

" My hearts a stereo , it beats for you so listen close , hear my thoughts in every note ." I singed as I got up on the ladder , putting the ribbons on top of the cabinets .

" Let's hope your mate hears you." my dad commented as he walked in with mom , their arms brushing as they walked side by side . My dad disapproved of me dating , since I haven't found my mate . But my mother, on the other hand , reasoned .

" It's good practice for what to say and what not to. Besides , he's only acting like that since I had one right before we found eachover ." her voice would drop to a whisper . My dad on the other hand , never was with anyone besides my mom .

The human side of me had a extreme crush on Heath, while the wolf side of me was constantly searching for her mate . But I knew that when I would meet him , the human side would love my mate more than it will ever love Heath. Hurtful , yes , but we talked it through . In fact , we made a pact.
