Chapter 12

"It said something about her meeting you after 'she' detaches 'herself' from you. Why?" I asked putting air quotes around she and herself referring to his words in the note. "Why would you say 'she detaches herself from you'? why not just say Hey let's fuck when she's not around" I asked 

"What note?" He growled 

"I just told you what note, now can you answer me? It's not like we're dating, and I know you and Lillian are still having sex she made that very clear to me" I scoffed 

"I didn't write a note in the past 2 days. I haven't written or received a note unless it was in a meeting which is entirely work related and the last time that happened was before our meeting nearly a month ago. " he stood up and walked over to the intercom, "LILLIAN GET YOUR ASS IN HERE, NOW!" he yelled into the microphone. He leaned on his desk facing the door while I sat in the chairs right next to the door. Within the minute her heels came clashing into the room and she was panting.

"You called Master? I came as quickly as I could" she breathed holding on to her chest.

"So, Lucy here was just telling me about how you've been telling her about all the sex we've been having." he said crossing his arms.

"Yes, it's just that recently it's been so great" she stuttered bowing her head, never have I seen her act like this before. Usually she seems so strong but when she's around Natsu she's like a lost puppy. 

"What's sad is that when I left that note in your room you never showed. She wasn't with me for hours and you never showed, we could have easily had sex during that time." He sighed. Damn this man is a wonderful actor. 

"Oh um, I thought you wanted me to stay with Lucy so I followed her around" She squirmed under his gaze never looking him in the eyes. His gaze landed on me

"Oh? Is this true Lucy, she was with you the whole time?"

"No, the one time I did see her was after hair, make up, and nails. She told me she was with you and reporting back to you" I scoffed looking her up and down.

"Well then. How is it that Lucy saw the note but it was in your room Lillian" He spat, he stood up and walked over to her, "Lillian, baby, where's the note" he breathed putting one finger underneath her chin forcing her to look at him.

"Master I......I don't........know" she stuttered staring directly at him. 

"Well who else but you would know, you're the one that wrote it" he said through clenched teeth now holding her face with his hand. Her eyes got wide and she visibly got sweaty even with her lack of clothing. "You, tainted my name. You, lied." he growled slowly now squeezing her face, "THIS" he said looking her up and down "is over, I want your shit OUT" he yelled throwing her onto the floor.

"Master" she moaned out picking herself up "I don't have anywhere to go" she choked out tears on the brim of falling. 

"You're fired, effective immediately. I'll be expecting you out within the hour, I'll even get you a moving truck" he turned his back to her and walked back to his desk to continue his work, "The clock is ticking anything you don't get will be thrown out"

"Master I'm so....."

"GET. THE. FUCK. OUT. NOW." He hollered, standing up spit flying from his mouth I've never seen him this angry before it was like his fists were made of flames and there was fire behind his eyes. I sat there my eyes huge scared of what he would do next. 

"Lu are you okay?" Levy ran in looking at the scene "I came as soon as I heard yelling" she scanned the room seeing Lillian balling her eyes out, Natsu positioned leaning over his desk and me sitting in the chair watching. 

"I'm fine" I smiled at her standing up 

"Take her with you" Natsu grunted sitting back down the metaphorical flames calming down. I nodded at him and guided her trembling body out the room and closed the door behind us. She dropped to the ground and curled into a ball as the muffled sound of Natsu's voice came from behind the door. He had sent Virgo up to Lillian's room to find the note, at the sound of this Lillian kicked off her heels and sprinted to her room.

"Cmon Levy lets go get that couch" I looped my arm with hers and brought her to the study which was in the basement. I threw all of my stuff onto a desk and walked over to where Levy had placed her stuff, so we could order this thing and leave. 

"Lucy what happened up there, I've always heard he has a temper but I didn't believe it until now" Levy shuddered typing in the numbers on the card. 

"She lied" I said quietly going back to my things so I can write. "He's a very isolated man and when he lets someone into his life he doesn't take it lightly. He won't allow someone to make a fool out of him" I sighed beginning to type the same words I spoke.

"Please be careful, I don't want you to get hurt" she whispered flipping the card so she could type the numbers on the back. 

"I know......." i sighed 

"Miss. Lucy, Miss. Levy? Master Dragneel has requested you both in his office" the intercom spoke.

"Okay thank you" I replied "Guess that means we've got to go back up now" I packed my things while Levy did the same. She held onto Natsu's card like it was a porcelain doll.

"I have so much power with this, I hate it" she said as we walked out the study and made our way to his office. "Here take it back, I can't control myself " she threw the card at Natsu's desk 

"Well hopefully she doesn't destroy anything else" Natsu smirked referring to me and sliding the card back into his wallet. "Goodbye it was great meeting you Levy. Lucy, I'll call" and with that we walked out his office and made our way to the front door. As I walked out Lillian piled her belonging into the truck. 

"This is your fault, I'd still be working there if it weren't for you" she ran over to me pointing her perfect nails in my face screaming. "I love him, I'm in love with him you stupid fucking whore" 

"He doesn't love you" Levy said defending me

"HE WILL. IF YOU HADN'T SHOWN UP HE WOULD BE MINE" she shrieked tears staining her face.

"I didn't do anything, You're the one that's known him for years. You are the one that could've changed everything" I kept my cool and never flinched even with her yelling in my face.

"YOU STUPID BITCH IT'S YOUR FAULT, HE DEFENDED YOU OVER ME. HE'S DONE SO MUCH FOR YOU IN THESE FEW WEEKS THAN HE HAS FOR ME IN YEARS. WHAT DO YOU HAVE THAT I DON'T?" She held my arms as she fell to her knees.

"I'm sorry, but I have no idea what you're talking about"

"YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME. I CAN'T EVEN KEEP HIS ATTENTION WHILE YOU'RE ALL HE SEES AND YOU DON'T EVEN REALIZE IT." she hit the ground constantly. Natsu ran outside .

"Times up" he said to Lillian, her head shot up and scooted away from us. He whistled and immediately security rushed towards him.

"So much for always" Levy whispered
