"I didn't realize what was going on until a hasty mugging.

Luckily for me, I had no idea what was going on.

I had no money on me.

To be fair, I didn't even have shoes on me.

Somehow I walked eleven goddamn blocks to get to your apartment.

I walked half a mile with no shoes on in the city.

As the guy scurried off after searching me I thought he was bold, bold for assuming someone who looked as ragtag as me in that moment had anything worthwhile on him.

The doctor said it wasn't treatable.

They said that while it was rare for somnambulism (sleepwalking for us of that aren't pretentious doctors) to occur in adults, it happened.

While it wasn't likely for someone to walk that far without waking up was rare, it could happen.

So I asked how I could un-make it happen.

They referred me to a shrink.

So, that's why I'm here today. Fix it."

"Well, what's the significance. You've been tracking your heart rate for a week with a tracker, you know where you have been walking and it's unlikely the destination has changed, or you're agitated for nothing." The shrink replied.

I groaned, this was about to be a very costly explanation.
