Highschoolers nervously wait to get there test results back.
Not Devin though.
She knew what she was going to get, the disappointing grades no longer stung like they did before. The result of her test or paper no longer kept Devin up late at night worrying her. Nothing a teacher said to Devin effected her anymore, The letter on the top of her paper didn’t tear her up inside anymore.
The teacher handed the bland meaningless peice of paper back to Devin. A loss of hope was in the teachers eyes, she was used to it, she had got it so much it had become meaningless."You should of worked harder”, and “I am disappointed in you" were now drowned out. Nothing in school seemed to phased her. Devin was bulletproof.
