"jIwOo!!?!" A man, j
iwoo's father, yell, obviously drunk.
"Yes sir!!" Jiwoo yelled back, knowing her father was drunk.
"wOuLd yOu bE a dEaR aNd pAsS mE tHaT bOtTlE pLeAse??" He drunkenly asked.
Jiwoo then walked to the table and passes him the bottle.
"Honey" her father managed to say normally
"Yes sir-" Jiwoo said, only to be interuped by her father
"You can call me dad, your bad excuse of a mother isn't here"
"Okay dad" Jiwoo then replied
"I need your help with two very important things" he then said sternly.
"What do you need, father"
"Please help me get over this addiction, it's ruining my life, my family, my everything" her father started off.
"Also, please. Help help me divorce your mother"
Jiwoo was surprised.
"May I ask why father?" Jiwoo asked
"Yes, but please get me a glass of water first, my head hurts."
Jiwoo then walked into the kitchen and came back with a glass of water like she promised
Her father then took a sip of the water and started speaking.
"I wanted to get a fresh start away from all the negativity, aswell and get rid of my alcohol addiction."
"I promise I shall help you father" Jiwoo then spoke.
The next few months consisted of Jiwoo doing everything in her power to help her father. They started off by throwing away all of his alcohol and cutting down on his lazy habits. He began going outside more and even found himself a job as a chef. Jiwoo also began looking up and studying the steps of divorce.
As six months went by, jiwoo's father was now a better person, and a better father. But he longed to be one more thing, a better husband.
Soon enough, the court date came around, and both Jiwoo and her father were ready, they had studied the process together and went over what would happen in court.
At the end of the day, jiwoo's parents had gotten a divorce and her father got to keep most of his possessions.
