GoodNight Moon

Prologue:

The Story is mixed with romance,mystery and tragedy  and this is my first time to write a story so please bear with me ok? :) (filipino writer)

"There isn't formula or method. You learn to love by loving by paying attention and doing what one thereby discovers has to be done."

"I Guess when your heart gets broken you sort of start to see cracks in everything. I'm convinced that  tragedy wants to harden us and our mission is never to let it"    

Chapter One: A not so happy beginnig                                                              

One day in a place where in everbody is happy ,there is one sad girl who's name is Meu that  will turn 18 next month,

Every day she is telling to herself "what if my parents will die, who will take care of me" She Began Running to her parents and hug them and telling to her parents "I love you both please don't go far where I cannot see you". Childishly said.

The Father tell her daughter "Oooh...Sweetchum we will not go anywhere. we will just go to the grocery and buy some of our food"

The father kiss her daughter meu and went out already, meu was alone at the house that time she doesn't have too many friends, She is only fond of reading books, She waited and waited for her parents to come home and when she turn the tv on she sees the car that her parents drove and said in the news that the couple was killed by a serial killer.

Meu was frustrated and don't know what to do, She gets her bike and she paddles as fast as she can until she reaches the supermarket,

And then her auntie arrived at the supermarket who is also crying and said to meu "what happen!?" because meu is so shock about what happen she cannot answer back to her aunt and remain silent

, And the officer came and ask her auntie "Did this couple have an enemy that can be the result of this?"  the auntie reply "No this couple are very friendly that all neighbors salute them that they raise a child that is so respectful and they are so lucky that they are their neighbors because every day the couple give them fruits every morning and I don't know why there is people trying to kill innocent people" She start crying heavily,

The next day meu came back to herself again but still sobbing and ask her auntie, "Did the police have already a suspect?" and the auntie stop for a minute and look at meu and said "the officer said that they dont found any clue but they found a knife hidden at the trash of the supermarket"

meu has found hope like her heart will explode then she said "then what were the officer doing right now?" auntie reply "they are now investigating it I hope there would be justice" then meu said "I hope so" with a little sadness on her face.

Meu suddenly think and said that "auntie what if I work  at a restaurant so I will not be heavy for your needs in the house"  the auntie reply "what about your studies" Meu said " Don't worry auntie I can handle both work and my studies" and the auntie said" Hmmm okay but make sure that your grades will not lower or you will stop working is that a deal?" Meu was happy and said " Yes! I will keep my grades high auntie"
