After school:
Marinette's pov:
I was walking back home after school, when my phone suddenly ringed. "Hello?" I asked, as it was an unknown number who called. "Is this Marinette?" A deep voice asked.

"Ah yes, and I suppose your Monsieur Homme chauve-souris?" I asked, but already knew the answer. "Yes. Now don't be alarmed, but one of my partners will come fetch you know. Unfortunately, I can't trust you completely, so you will be wearing a blindfold. His name is Nightwing and he will escort you to the batcave." Batman said. "Ok, when will he arrive?"

"He's already here." A manly voice said and blind folded me. I was very startled. "Oh my soul! You can't just sneak up on someone like that!" I scolded the older man. "Heh, sorry. But we should be on our way now." He said and then picked me up bridal style.

A few minutes later.
"Ok, I'm gonna take the blindfold off, but keep your eyes closed, because it will take a time to adjust to the light." Nightwing said. I just nodded. Andddd, I was finally free of the blindfold!

"Hello Marinette." I heard Batman say. I finally opened my eyes and gasped. The batcave looked so awesome! "Hello sir." I said after I had my little wow factor. "Come, please sit down." He said and I followed him to the couch.

"I believe I haven't introduced myself properly yet. My name is Red Robin." Red Robin said and bow downed to kiss my hand. Once again, I instantly blushed. "U-uh, nice to meet you to." I stuttered out. Damn it Mari, this is your new life! Stop it with the stuttering! I scolded myself.

"Heya again missy. I'm, as you already know, Nightwing!" He said and smiled at me. I smiled back. "Well, that went alot better then when you just kidnapped me." I said in a monotone voice. "Tt, he didn't kidnap you, Batman already told you what was going to happen." The boy, that I already know was Robin, said.

"That's not the point." I sighed. "Now Monsieur, why did you want to meet up?" I asked Batman. "Well, I wanted to ask you some questions, seeing as how you 'tamed' the Joker." Batman said. "Ah, I see. Well ask away." I said and made myself comfy.

"Well first of all, what happened to your record?" He asked. I looked at him confusingly. "What Record?" I asked him. "Well, when I searched you, there was no results. No place of birth or parents. It's like you don't exist. Explain how it is so." He said in a serious voice.

"Shit." I mumbled to myself. "Umm, well you see.... I can't answer that." I said, trying to hide my shaky voice. "And why not?" I sighed. I knew they wouldn't let me leave until they get their answers. "Ok, you see. I am from Paris. Something happened there that forced me to flee. I don't trust anyone enough yet to tell my story. Not even my caretakers for the time." I said looking down. A tear went down my cheek as I remembered some of my worst memories. "Well miss, can you atleast tell me something?" He asked. And it didn't take a detective to figure out that he was starting to break his 'strong' wall down.

Here is the moment y'all have been waiting for!

"I guess I could tell you about Adrien." I said in a very low voice. "Alright, thank you." Batman said. I sighed. "Well as you know, theres alot of akumas in Paris." I started. "What are akumas?" He said, genuinely confused. I was skocked. "You don't know what akumas are?" I questioned. "No, otherwise why would he be asking." Red Hood answered in a duh tone.

I rolled my eyes. "For the past 4 years, akumas have been evading Paris. Akumas are small, black butterflies that transform people with negative emotions into raging monsters. Hawkmoth, the man who has the butterfly miraculous wants to have Ladybug and Chat Noirs miraculouses. If he gets those two miraculouses, he will be able to make one wish. But in return for that wish, he must sacrifice something just as valuable. For example, if he wishes for someone who died to become alive again, somebody else close to him will die." I explained.

"What is so imortant of these Miraculouses?" Nightwing asked. "Miraculouses are jewelry that was created by tini Gods in the beginning of the universe. They made the universe and everything that exists in it." I concluded my explanation.

"Oh, thank you. Red Hood, please research all of this information." Batman asked. "Now to continue, you were talking about someone named Adrien?" Batman asked as he faced me again.

"Y-yes." I said shakingly. I inhaled sharply and started talking. "Adrien was one of my best friends and my former crush." I started. "Miss Marinette, you are speaking in the past tense." Red Robin noted. "Yes. Adrien died. One year ago, a girl named Lila was akumatized. She was jealous because Adrien turned her down for valentines. And Ladybug and Chat Noir was a bit late to the scene. I was there with Adrien. Lila kidnapped us and was holding me over the Eiffel tower, screaming at me, saying that it was the last time that I would see Adrien ever again. In some ways, she was correct." I said looking down.

"She threw me off of the tower. But not before I saw Adrien transform into Chat Noir. He also jumped off and saved me. 'Yes, we're free!' I thought, but boy was I dead wrong. He pulled us back up and I stood against the top of the tower. And thats when I saw it. Lila was no longer evilized. The suit, mask and powers were gone. But she was smirking. She walked towards Chat Noir and started to apologize. He told her it was okay and then he turned to me." Tears were running down my cheeks now.

"Then I saw it. The knife in her hand. I pushed Chat out of the way and she stabbed me. I thought it was the end. As I fell backwards, accepting my fate. I saw something glowing. Chat noir had taken Ladybug's miraculous. And he wished for me to stay alive. I started to heal and then he fell beside me. Dead." I started to sob.

"Lila was laughing at me and then Hawkmoth came. He slowly started to walk to Chat's corpse and he was about to take his ring. And I did something very dangerous. I dragged Chat with me and jumped off of the tower. Queen Bee saved us. She had a miraculous for the time being." I couldn't hold it back anymore.

"H-his corpse was suddenly moving again and h-he k-kissed me. I couldn't push him o-off. There I was laying. Trapped under my f-former c-crushes dead body, while h-he was kissing me. Queen Bee came and crushed his skull. Her eyes were full of tears and then I passed out. Ladybug got her earings back and called upon her Miracle cure. Everything was fixed, except A-adriens lifeless body and crushed skull next to me, and t-the memories." I was full on sobbing now. I felt someone sit beside me and hug into my side.

"It's alright Princess, you can calm down." I heard Robin say as he  tried to calm me down. I calmed down a bit and started to talk some more. "That's when Hawkmoth started to murder people. I saw m-my parents die in front of me more than once and couldn't take the bullying and murders and all those akumas anymore." I cried again. "C-can I p-please use the restroom?" I asked. "Of course." Batman said and led me towards the bathroom. I started to talk with Tikki about revealing myself.

Batman's pov:
"Everything checks out." Red Hood said from the computer. "That poor girl..." Nightwing mumbled. "We have to help her." Robin said in a serious voice.

"I agree. When she is done in the bathroom, we will sort this whole thing out." I said. Coincidentally, Mari came out just then. "Mari, could you answer just a few more questions?" Nightwing asked. "Y-yeah, but I have something to confess first." She took in a deep breath. "I am Ladybug. Tikki come out please." She said and a gigantic bug flew out. "Hello, my name is Tikki and I am the Goddess of Luck and Creation." She announced.

"HOLY SHIT. IT'S A FLYING BUG, MOUSE THING!" Nightwing screamed out.
