Chapter 7 - The Big Announcement

Mia's POV

     After that shocking death of an elite, everybody threw a party. They were all happy that somebody just died. That somebody strong has fallen. I myself might also be happy. But still, I pity the person her head was taken off. She didn't get my revenge. 

     It was another Friday here in GAIA ACADEMY and everybody seemed so happy even if somebody is going to die again. 

     "Mia!" somebody called out. 

     I turned and saw a little girl just like Lawrence.

     "Who are you?"

     "You don't remember me?" then she started to make this face that shows a kid is going to cry.

     "Don't cry."

     "But you don't remember me."

     I really did try to remember her but nothing is coming. Who is this kid!

     "If you can't remember then I'll introduce myself. I'm Lawrence's sister."

     Oh right!

     "I'm sorry for the loss."

     "It's ok. She died being a GAIA anyway."

     "GAIA?"

     "It's what you are called when you receive your weapon." 

     "Wait... Seriously? I didn't know about this."

     "Well, it was nice seeing you, again."

     She left without telling me her name. 

     I looked at the center stage and saw the principal.

     "Good Morning everyone." she started.

     "Good Morning!" everybody replied.

     "Today, I announce that an elite was killed. That is why we will give her a tribute today and todays Friday Nightmare will not happen."

     Everybody started to scream and smile.

     Then somebody spoke, "Who killed her?"

     "That's a secret everyone." the principal replied.

     They're keeping this from the students?

     "Before I would finish my announcement here, I would like to give you my second grand announcement." after saying this everybody stopped screaming and started to silence. What could this announcement be?

     "From this day forward," she started. "We will be recruiting a new elite in Chelsea's place."

     Then all of a sudden everybody said, "Weapon Creation!"

     What is happening? 

     I looked at the principal and she was smiling with the elites. Everybody on the stage were looking down on us.

     "Those sixty survivors of the hour will have the chance to get a spot. If you are a survivor but not a part of the sixty survivors, we will immediately eliminate you because you were destined to die in the hour." Angel informed.
