Episode1

Roll over from Last Scene:
Rohit swirls together with Sona in his arms. Everyone is so happy. Veena is so grateful that everything has ended so well.

She announces “ Both the newly weds, Deepa Akash, Sona and Rohit, please go to your rooms.

I have personally decorated your rooms. I wish you all the blessings and happiness in the world"!

Rohit gently puts down Sona and goes to his mother.

He takes her hands in his and says in a strange voice,” Mom, I have to tell you something.  Sona and me are leaving this house.”

There was an eerie silence whence the Sippy family stood frozen.
Naren was the first to react,”what? Rohit where are you leaving to and why?

The past few months have been hell. The past few years have been hell. You have rightly hated me. I am dying to get back my son’s love.
I am looking forward to becoming Sonakshi's father in the real sense. Veena and all of us, I am sure want to make it up to both of you. You can’t leave?”

The family woke up from the haze and spoke together at the same time, shouting pulling, questioning, denying.

Sona had not moved. She looked at her husband’s face. She knew that look.
He had decided.
But this decision was wrong.
She wouldn’t allow him to make the mistake he would regret later.”

She walked up to him and put her hands on his shoulder. As he turned back and looked at her, she said firmly, “I hope you are joking Rohit. If you aren’t, then let me tell you that it’s not done to leave your family. This is our family, our house. I’m not going away from my family Rohit.”

“Yes, said Rohit,”Our family. You know my family loves me so much that they wanted me to settle down with a lovely girl and always stay happy.
And they chose you for me. They have showered lots of love on us. I’m grateful.

But this is also the same family that drew up the pre-nup, accused my wife for all mishaps and stood mute when I was throwing you out of the house in the middle of the night.
Even your accident didn’t move them!”

There was pin-drop silence which Sona broke, “Rohit. It's all in the past. I have always yearned for a big family. You have given me one. You can’t just snatch”, she fought back her tears, “everything..

As Rohit looked at her biting her lips to stop herself from crying, he felt a deep pain in his chest. He couldn’t breathe.

He remembered the cursed hour he had thrown her out of this house but never out of his heart.

He shook his head. Nothing nobody could now move him from his resolve.
“I have taken the decision Sona" he offered gently. We now have a house in a locality which is exactly mid-way between Sippy Mansion and Rastogi House.

We will always be a part of both the Sippy and Rastogi families.

It is just that we now have our space, a little world of our own from the rest of the world. We should leave now.”

Everyone looked like somebody had just kicked them in the face.
Akash chachu grabbed Rohit’s hands, “We have all been selfish. Very selfish. But I’m your sweetest Sippy, right? Don’t go! We will all say Sorry several times.”

“Let them go" said a voice. Rohit ran to the voice and hugged her, “Badi Mumma, I don’t want to hurt anybody. I.”

“Go" said badi mumma and pushed them both firmly towards their car, not heeding the protests of shock and grief, “Don’t forget to share the pin location of your new home in the family whatsapp group.
Settle down and we will all visit you. Rohit and Sona, god bless you to a new beginning.”
