Even though Alpha Anubis had ordered us to stay away from his niece, we couldn't do that.
I couldn't do that.
Why is he punishing us for what the moon goddess already decided was meant to be? We were aware that if we attempted to go see her at the same time it would be too obvious, so we decided to draw straws. Obviously, I won since I'm just plain awesome.
It definitely wasn't because I cheated, that's for sure.
After my brothers and I had finished drawing lots and I had won, we had to figure out where she would be, how to find her and if she would be alone.
We called in a favor with our Gamma, Fenrir, and he sent us a chip in our mini teleporter. All we had to do now was get her phone and plant the chip in it. Then we'd be able to track her phone and her whenever we needed or wanted.
When we had gone to Alpha Anubis' pack house we had run into Leila - literally in my my case. I had taken my chance before she could even realize what was happening. As I purposely ran into her I relieved her of her phone before helping her back up.
"Thanks," Leila blushed.
"My pleasure," I purred.
She stood there awkwardly for a moment, unsure, as she shifted her weight from one foot to the other.
"Well," she said hesitantly. "I'd better go. My uncle wanted to meet me about something important," she finished as she watched her shoes.
I let out a low chuckle at that.
"Oh, I'm sure he does," I said. "I'll see you soon."
She turned even redder at that, nodding mutely as she played with her fingers. She gave me one last look, sending a small, shy, smile my way, before she turned around and made her way towards the alpha's office.
I waited for a few moments, savoring the brief interaction, before I joined my brothers with my prize.
"Do you have it," Remus demanded, eyes darting everywhere anxiously.
Remus had agreed that this was the best option, albeit reluctantly, while Coinin had said this was a bad idea. Luckily, we over ruled him with our usual voting system.
I opened her phone and inserted the chip, making sure there wasn't any evidence left.
"Where should we leave it," Remus asked. "This will be pointless if she can't find her phone. I still think we could have thought of something else by the way."
"We didn't have the time Coinin," I muttered. "And lower your voice will you? Do you want us to get caught," I hissed.
"Sorry," he said in a quieter voice. He turned to our, Remus before continuing. "You said you agreed with me before."
I sighed as I rubbed my temples.
He rubbed his chin thoughtfully before answering. "I did but it's a little late to change the plan now, wouldn't you say. Neither of us could come up with a better idea," he said with a sigh as he placed his hand on Remus' shoulder.
"You do want to see our mate, right," I cajoled as I finished popping the back into place.
"Yes but---"
"No buts. If either of you have a plan now I'd be willing to listen. Do you?"
He bit his lip before slowly shaking his head after he quickly glanced at Remus who simply shrugged in response.
"There, see?"
"I just wish we could do this differently. This feels creepy, doesn't it Remus?"
"This doesn't feel right," he quietly agreed before quickly checking to see if we were still alone. "Hurry up, will you? I'd rather the Alpha, our mate's uncle, doesn't hate us."
"I'm pretty sure it's too late for that," Coinin muttered.
"Hate us more then. Happy?"
"No. Remus' right, we need to hurry up. Are you done yet?"
"Yes, I finished a few minutes ago. Where do you want me to put this," I hissed.
"It has to be somewhere she'll be able to find easily."
"I agree. We should also leave it somewhere she'll think it's likely she accidentally left it," Coinin added as we all began to look at our surroundings.
"There," Remus said as he eyed her bag and school supplies hastily stashed in what looked to be a coat room.
"Perfect."

When Leila entered the theater I decided to wait until the lights had been dimmed to follow her. My dark eyes scanned the movie theater for any guards stationed to watch over her.
Nothing.
Nothing worth noting anyways. There was just the one guard sulking near the back.
Alpha Anubis must either be impressively stupid or far too sure of himself to have left her with one guard, and a pup at that. Even if the young one did smell like a Beta, he wouldn't be a match for one of us, let alone three. He was lucky it was just me there. Since we were three Alphas that had just found our mate, we would be more possessive. He should have known better, especially as a fellow Alpha.
I returned to reality with a start when the doors finally slammed shut, lights dimming. That was my cue.
I swiftly made my way over, searching for my mate.
Spotting her long mane of dark caramel curls almost immediately, I silently made my way towards her, sitting in the conveniently empty seat next to her. I frowned when she proceeded to ignore me and instead continued chatted with her friend. That wouldn't do.
Then I had a brilliant idea; I'd distract her. Don't mind if I do!
I slowly slid my large, manly left hand up the length of her exposed knee, then on to her thigh. I was happy my mate was wearing a short leather skirt, since it left me more room to work with. It did make me angry that other male wolves had seen my mate like this though; my wolf, Vladimir, was even more torn.
I gently trailed my hand back down from her thigh towards her knee once more, gently squeezing when I reached her knee. She slowly turned to look at me with a single eyebrow raised in question, causing me to let out a low chuckle.
Her friend appeared to be happily concentrating on the movie playing, as was everyone else. Perfect.
I was going to have a little fun with her tonight.
