Part 8: Love Blossoming

Sinbad: What was that?!

(Odette turns around, surprised)

Odette: Were you spying on me?

Sinbad: I wasn't at first, but I didn't mean too. I was just curious. Also I heard a voice.

Odette: Wait, you heard it too?!

Sinbad: Yeah. Do you know who it is?

Odette: No. But I heard it before when I was a child. Ever since I found out that I have magic.

Sinbad: How did you find out that you have magic?

Odette: When I was 11 I noticed that my things started to float in the air and that I could breath under water. So I went over to my dad and told him everything. When I did, he told me why. It turns out, that I am an descendent of a powerful wizard named Jim Evermoore. It's said that he saved our world from the Rosanians. It's also said that he's an alien from a planet called Rosania. He was also an Rosanian that was sent to earth to save us all from an Evil Shapeshifting Rosanian Troll named Groth. When my dad told me this, I wouldn't accept that I was half alien so I went to my treehouse and cried. But my mom came over and told me that everything was going to be OK. She also told me that she could teach me how to control my powers. And she did.

Sinbad: Wow. I thought that I was the only one that has magic. But it turns out, I'm not the only one.

Odette: And I thought that I was the only one that could hear the mysterious voice. But now, I'm not.

(Odette and Sinbad stare at each other for awhile)

Odette: Um. What about you? How did you find out that you have magic?

Sinbad: I don't like talking about it. But, the thing is, my magic came from Autumn. Autumn gifted me with magic after she took me to Emerald Island to my adoptive family.

Odette: Wait, you're adopted?

Sinbad: Yeah. My birth parents were murdered by Fredrick.

Odette: Fredrick killed your parents?!

Sinbad: Yes.

(Odette in shock)

Odette: So that's why you're so determined to find him. You want justice for your parents.

Sinbad: Yes. But most importantly, to find out why he didn't kill me when he had the chance.

Odette: You think there's a reason?

Sinbad: Yes. I think there is.

(Odette and Sinbad look at each other again)

Odette: Um. . . I think I should go back to bed.

Sinbad: Oh yeah. Same here.

Odette: Well. . Uh. . Goodnight.

Sinbad: Goodnight.

(Odette leaves)

(Looking through a magical sphere)

Amelia: Well now.

Fredrick: What? What is it?

Amelia: It looks like our young pirate prince is in love with Odette.

Fredrick: Really?

Amelia: Yes. It's delicious.

(Fredrick laughs)

Fredrick: At last, we have found his weakness. My darling Amelia, you are amazing.

(Fredrick kisses Amelia)

Amelia: Thank you.

Fredrick: Now, let's plan our attack.
