John C. Lasne’ began his storytelling career telling ghost stories around a campfire on a small island off the coast of South Carolina.
His journey through life led him to a wife in California, a tour of duty in Vietnam, and finally to the foothills of South Carolina.
His first book, The Red Ribbon: a story of hope, has received both national and international awards. The story has been made into musicals, plays, and retold around the country. The book led to a year and a half tour across the country, sponsored by the United States Postal Service and National Family Partnership. John spread the message of hope to tens of thousands of students and adults.
The Buffalo Mesa Mummy is his first full length novel.
