The promise came unexpectedly. I sent the application for some months, without expecting that it arrives. The WLAN is horrible, the internet we have only in the main house a half-mile away from the village. We have three computers, one of them is broken for six months or more. I wrote the email fast and sent it before I could change my mind. It was a mad idea. I went ten years to a place which on couldn't call a school. It's only a bigger tippy with some tables and chairs and a blackboard in front of this. Teachers we had rare. Mostly, parents teach us more or less well.
I had practically no school education.Last year, I made some small activities. I helped old people, build a waterpipe that we have clearer water and so on. But I don't think truly that this is enough to become a place in one of the best colleges in the country.
Now I'm standing here with the letter in my hands. It is dirty and mostly because they lay in the boot for two or three days. The postman rarely comes for the reason he has to get the post from another island, a bigger one. The mail is sent to the capital and from there to the individual islands. It took a while.
Well, I still have one problem: How could I explain to my parents that I leave home in four-month. Would they accept my decision? Perhaps, they are happy. Or they scream to me how I could disappoint them so much. I don't know.. I have to try it.
