Dipper Pines was sitting in his room in the old creaky attic of the Mystery Shack. It had been 5 years since Dipper and his twin sister Mabel had been to the sleepy old town of Gravity Falls Oregon. When he was here he felt almost at peace with himself, like when he was here nothing could hurt him. Not even the person he was sure was stalking him. But wait no one was. Right? It was just his paranoid conscious that told him he was being stalked...right.
"Hey, DipDop are you going to come down here or what?" Mable said as she creaked open the door.
"I'll be right there!" Dipper called back to his sister. Mabel was always the one person that was able to cheer Dipper up, made him forget about his troubles. But still, the feeling of being watched was worse this day than previous days. Dipper didn't understand why but he just shrugged it off. "I'll be down in a minute...."Dipper whispered under his breath.
Ok but hurry up everyones here! She said as she raced back down stairs. Dipper stretched out for a while before finally getting out of bed. Dipper was debating with himself on whether or not he should get ready before he goes downstairs or after. After having a serious mind battle with himself Dipper decided after, after all, Mabel seemed like she really wanted him to go downstairs.
After a little bit, Mabel saw her brother and smiled. She was talking with Gideon but ran to Dipper hugging him Finally you come down. She said with a chuckle.
"Well, you seemed eager about me coming down here," Dipper said, a bit tired as he rubs his eyes. "Anyways, why did you want me to come down here anyway?" Dipper said, still rubbing his eyes as he yawned.
Everyone wanted to see you. Well almost everyone. She giggled as she silently looked at Gideon then back at Dipper. Now come on. "I talked to Wendy and she said she wanted to talk to you." She smiled. "It isnt really who I ship you with tho." She muttered silently with a slight pout.
Dipper's eyes widened with that statement. Wendy, wanted to talk to him? About what? "Mabel, what does Wendy want to talk to me about? Do you know?" Dipper asked out of curiosity. He wasn't into Wendy anymore but still, he was curious as to what this conversation with Wendy was gonna be about.
"No. No offense, I hope its not that she likes you. I dont ship you two anymore." Mable said. She couldnt stop shipping. It was very addicting.
Dipper sighed. Just great. He already worried enough as it is he really didn't need to worry about this conversation he was gonna have with Wendy. "Do you know where she's at?" Dipper asked with a sigh he just wanted to get this over with as soon as possible.
"Yeah, she is at the cash register well, by it at least." She said with a smile.
"Thanks, Mabel," Dipper said as he turned to head to the gift shop area of the Mystery Shack. The second he walked through the door he saw Wendy, right were Mabel said she would be, his stomach filled with dread. "Hey, Wendy"Dipper said nervously as he walked towards Wendy. "What was it you needed to tell me?"
"Oh hey, Dip. I wanted to ask you about that crush you had on me when you were 12. I mean don't get me wrong you were adorable but in a friendly kid way." she said" Do you still have a crush on me?" she asked scared for the answer.
Just great. Dipper thought to himself. "Why do you wanna know?" Dipper asked. He actually wanted to know. Why did she care if he still did or not? He wasn't gonna tell her unless she told him why she wanted to know.
"Because...I have a boyfriend now and didn't want you to feel bad if you still liked me." She said
"No Wendy, I don't" Dipper said. If he was being honest it thrilled him to know Wendy didn't like him. "Soo, can I uh, go now?" Dipper asked nervously as he pointed towards the door.
