No Mercy

CHAPTER ONE

   " Mom, Dad! I'm going to the store I'll be back later!" I yelled as I was coming down from the stairs.

    " Ok honey just be back before dinner." My mom hollered from the kitchen. She was making chicken and potatoes with rice, I could smell the sweet tangy aroma hovering above the air as it filled my lungs. Yum I could taste it now how moist and flavorful the chicken would be and the nice soft potatoes with the rice.

     " Don't worry mom I would never miss your delicious cooking." I said as I exited the out the front door.

    " Dinner will be ready in and hour" she responded.

    " Ok bye mom" I said as I shut the door behind me and got into my car. It was a bit cold outside with a nice breeze in the air the sun was out but not to high it was about to set. You could see the beautiful colors across the sky and some clouds over head. I put my sun glasses on and turned the radio on to my favorite station nothing good came on. A Taylor Swift song came on while I was at a red light, I tried to change the station to see if anything else was on but it was all commercials so I was stuck with the song. I hear if you sing along the song will go faster so that's what I did.

     " Cause I knew you were trouble when you walked in!" I got to admit that song was pretty catchy.

    " Hey shut up!" A person in a car beside me yelled at me. Woops I had forgotten that my windows were rolled down, I knew I sang bad but not that bad.

     " Sorry." I apologized as I lowered the music and rolled my windows up. Asshole.

    I finally arrived, there were no parking spots near the store so I had to park in a parking lot a block away after all I needed the exercise. As I was walking There were buildings on each side there was this really creepy alley between 2 buildings that didn't end. You could go straight and then turn either way left or right and no matter where you turned it led to some abandoned buildings.

    I quickly passed by, there was a homeless man standing a few feet away from there. He was dirty and smelled like garbage, he was wearing a long dark green coat grey pants and a red hat. He had brown messy hair and a long beard which was dirty and had white stuff in it.

     " Hey baby doll you wanna have some fun?" He asked with a creepy smile on his face, his teeth were yellow and stained. He tried to grab me and pull me closer. I quickly pulled out my pepper spray from my pocket and sprayed him in the eyes. "Stranger danger!!!!" I yelled as I sprayed him. " Ahhh!!! Fuck!!" He yelled covering his eyes and falling to his knees. I took this chance and ran the rest of the way to the store.

    I was panting trying to catch my breath when I arrived at the door of the store. I walked in and as i did the bell above the door rang. It was a small store but not so small it had items on the walls and on the shelves. I walked towards the shelves to the food section I was craving some ice cream! I opened the fridge and grabbed a small tub of cookie dough ice cream. I walked towards the counter and payed for my ice cream. The cashier guy was tall and had luscious dark brown hair which went so well with his clear blue eyes. He was wearing a red shirt and a name tag it read Danny.

     " Did you find everything ok?" he asked me as he rang up the ice cream.

    " Mmmmh." I nodded, God I hate talking to people. He put the ice cream in the bag and handed it to me. I opened the lid of the ice cream and started eating it with a plastic spoon that was in my pocket. I scooped up a chunk of ice cream and took it to my mouth, as it reached my mouth I could feel it melting and all the bits of cookie dough so sweet and chewy. As I walked I took my time and walked slowly making sure I wouldn't bump into the creepy hobo again.

    I was getting close to the alley and the hobo wasn't there so that was a good sign. As I got closer I heard someone screaming, I hid behind the wall of the alley I stook my head out slightly to see what was going on. There was a man in a long black coat that had a gun in his hand he was pointing it to a girls head. He swung the gun back and hit the girl in the face, she jerked back and I could see blood coming from her mouth.

      " Please stop, im sorry." She pleaded in between sobs. She had blonde hair and her eyes were clear blue but were filled with fear, she was wearing a blue tank top and white shorts she had no shoes on. Her cloths were all dirty and ripped.

      " That will show you from escaping from me and if you do it again I will kill you." He said his voice was raspy and low. He grabbed her by the hair and yanked her up.

      " Here take her back." He said to someone. I didn't see any one else but suddenly another man appeared from the shadows, the other man was wearing a brown leather jacket. He came closer to the girl and grabbed her and then they disapeared. The man in the long black coat stood their and looked around he bent over and picked something up I couldn't see what it was so I tried to lean closer to see what it was at this I accidentily fell and made a big noise the bag spilled the ice cream and I fell foward. The man in the black coat turned around and saw me I quickly tried to get up and run but then I felt something over my mouth and then suddently everything went black.
