How do I bring this up in a normal conversation oh my Merlin? I don't know how I feel, I mean I can't possibly like him he's so annoying. I have to talk to Lily no, maybe, I'll just bring it up. Yeah, perfect just hint at it and bring it up subtly and brush it off and make it more of a joke, yup full-proof, I hope. I kept going through this plan/debate thingy in my head over and over till the Knight Bus finally reached my destination Lily's house. Here goes nothin' I thought sighing as I thanked the driver and threw my backpack over my shoulder. As I walked my sexy arse {body confidence ladies we're all gorgeous} up Lily's drive I wondered what her responses would be to the one thing I wasn't even certain about. Did I have feels for or even remotely like SIRIUS BLACK, my competition, my oblivious best friend's crush's best friend, my brotherly enemy, the one person in this world who can tease and annoy me to no end? The world must be ending that's the only option nothing else, no way! I need a distraction, oh wait that's right girls night, I should probably go in, I'll talk to Lils later tonight.

*Knock Knock*

"Ah, if it isn't my second daughter, come on, in you get!" grinned Mr. Evans when he opened the door and glanced down at me.

"Hi, it's nice to see you too, second, dad" I smirked up at him as I squeezed past him, however to my dismay I was instantly pulled into a tight hug by none other than Rose Evans, Lily's mother.

"Oh Marlene, Honey, I'm so glad to see you again, it's been too long" Ms. Evans squealed still gripping me tight.

"Oh great another freak in the house and you still can't see it" groaned a familiar voice

"Ah, well if it isn't the giraffe" I snorted back in reply to Petunia

"Now now Petunia be nice I don't insult your friends....oh wait...the only thing you have near a friend is that  walrus of yours, never mind!" spoke up my gorgeous red-haired friend as she skipped the last two steps on the stairs, "and mum Marly was here not even a month ago it hasn't been that long"

"Geez, Nice to see you too, Lilith" I budded in

"ARGH! Mum, Dad I'm going out I'll see you when our house is freak free!" retorted Petunia as she grabbed an expensive purse, she must have gotten from that sorry excuse of a boyfriend she had and stormed out the door.

"NEVER, NOPE, NO, and YOU KNOW THIS MARLENE MCKINNON it IS NEVER EVER LILITH that is the most REVOLTING name to ever be said in my presence and it ISN'T EVEN MY NAMEEEEEE!!!" Lily shrieked at me her face screwed up, in a not very attractive way I might add.

"Calm down Lils, I was kidding and fix your face it's still daylight I'm sure even James would run from it right now" I giggled at her angry response

"Alright Ladies, Pizza as usual?" intervened Harold Evans noticing the way the argument was progressing and he didn't want to be near us, teasing, dramatic girls, any longer than need be.

"As always" Lily and I surprisingly responded in unison afterward we glanced at each other and fell into a fit of giggles as we finally embraced each other in a tight hug.

"Girls" mumbled Harold as he walked away to use the muggle telly-phone to call pizza place thingy. Ms. Evans punched his arm playfully before turning back to us.

"Okay, off you go, girls, we'll bring the pizza up when it arrives, go have fun" smiled Lily's mum, who I guess in a way is my mum too. We smiled at mum and then turned to each other, our eyes having a conversation of their own that went something like this... the last one to your room is a fresh pickled toad...and you're on Evans. With a quick nod, we were off both of us push and sprinting up the stairs cutting each other off and squealing as if we were two, down the hallway back to the final door with a sign the showed Lily's name in her flowery, John Hancock, handwriting and we opened the door quickly and collapsed on to the bed at the same moment in our usual spots. I occupied the left side and she had fallen onto the right. I took a quick moment to glance around the all too familiar room, two windows both with cream-colored blinds, soft blue walls, comfy cream chair with a matching braided footstool stood in the corner, next to her dresser with all her jewelry piled up in unorganized yet in a way organized piles, then there was her cream-colored closet; today both doors were wide open revealing the mess of clothes and hoarded shoes she had; both of the doors were occupied with full-length mirrors, and on the opposing wall, her bed with her perfectly white sheets, covers, and pillows with her cream nightstand on her side of the bed with her reading lamp, and let's not forget her bookcase OH. MY. GOODNESS. one wall up and down all the way across was filled with books of all genres and some didn't even fit so they were just randomly stacked in piles around her room. Lily is my best friend but sometimes I wonder how we could be so close yet be nearly complete opposites.
