     She. She made his heart stop for a split second when their eyes first caught onto each other. Her voice had sounded angelic when she parted her plump lips to speak up. No sign of judgement was written on her oh so gorgeous face when he stood in front of her. Her eyes like pure chocolate, yet at the same time as light as the heavens. His son hid behind the skirt of her dress, clutching onto his friend, her son, because he didn't want playtime to be over yet. She had smiled at Charles, stepping aside and the amaranthine smile had curled her lips, showed off her pearly-white teeth and he barely processed what she asked him.

"You're welcome to stay, if you like?".

     However he. He was lost in late nights, blood included fights. The shady business. Five minutes before he arrived at her door, his fingers were clenched around the steel barrel of his gun. And when he looked at her petite frame, he heard the bullet shooting and he felt the withdrawal of the weapon still in his hands. Knuckles bruised and split, the inked lines of his crew symbol swirling over his shoulder blades. Yet his thick eyebrows unfurrowed from their frown, his tense shoulders relaxed when his sky blue eyes laid on his son.

"So, I guess we're staying. Aren't we?".

He was drenched in dirty water and those stains? They don't wash out. Old rust corrodes and dirty water corroded in him.
