Karas pov

It had been a month since Lena woke up. She stayed in the DEO for three weeks before they signed her off. In those three weeks, we rebuilt our relationship, both of us completely falling in love with one another again. After the DEO discharged her, I offered for Lena to stay with me again and she agreed. We took things slow and I took the sofa while Lena slept in the bed. It took a lot of convincing but she gave up after a while. I woke up the next morning, soft snores coming from the bedroom. A smile broke out on my face and I got up to make breakfast. Things had been hard on us all but they were finally starting to get back in track. I didn't hear the quiet footsteps coming towards me until a pair of arms wrapped around my waist.
"Morning Lee." I said with a smile.
"Morning. Whatcha making?" She asked, resting her chin on my shoulder.
"Pancakes." I whispered with a grin.
"That doesn't surprise me." We laughed and I span around to hug her.
After finish up with breakfast, we both changed into jeans and comfy shirts before sitting on the sofa to watch movies. Lena still (even though she argued heavily) had a few days off work and Catco had let me have time off to look after her. I laid along the length of the sofa, Lena laid in between my legs, he'd head rested at the base of my neck. I let my hand run softly through her hair.
A vorping noise made us both sit up defensively. A blue police box materialized by the kitchen and I immediately relaxed, a grin appearing on my face. I quickly got up and waited excitedly for the door to open. Lena was at my side, confused as ever.
The door opened and Yaz walked out.
"Yaz!" I grinned before running up to hug her. The minute I wrapped my arms around her, she hugged me tight, sobbing into my shoulder. My smile immediately disappeared and I was full of worry. Once her tears subsided, I helped her walk over to the sofa.
"We need your help Kara." She said sadly. Lena brought us both over some tea and sat next to Yaz, holding her free hand.
"Why can I do?" I asked, wordy lacing ever word.
"The master, Gallifrey. The doctor."
"That's never a good combination." I sighed. Yaz explained everything. How The master had made a race of Cybemen. Humans that had been converted into killing robots now thanks to the master, had time lord regenerating abilities.
"The doctor went back in with a bomb. Once detonated, would kill every organic thing on Gallifrey. She sent me, Ryan, Graham and 3 others back to Sheffield. One of the others, KO went to detonate the bomb so the doc could return with us, saying his time was over. He left but she hasn't come back. I need to find her. Ryan and Graham don't think she made it out but I know she's alive somewhere." Yaz said, holding back a sob.
"We'll help. Whatever we can do." Lena replies.
"Sorry." Yaz said quickly.
"I'm yasmine Kahn, The Doctor is my girlfriend. You must be Lena." Yaz introduced herself. Lena smiled.
"It's nice to meet you, how can we help with finding your girlfriend? Wait. Are you on this earth?" Lena asked.
"No, Yaz's earth is a mirror version of ours. Our solar system has a twin solar system, completely different galaxies but entirely the same." I explained.
"How do we get there?"
"The TARDIS." Yaz exclaimed with a smile. I grinned,
"I freaking love that box." Yaz let out a small laugh.
"Let me inform Alex and we can get going although truth be told, she will probably want to come."

Lenas POV
While Kara called Alex I sat listening to Yaz.
"Wait so she literally just fell through the roof of a train and you've all been with her ever since?" I smiled.
"Yeah, we met Kara about a year ago. We'd got a distress call here and helped her fight some alien dudes."
"Right," Kara walked over with a smile.
"Alex is on her way." Yaz nodded.
"I'm sorry Yaz, I know this must be hard without her." Kara said sadly.
"It's weird not hearing her rambling on about something or other, or hearing her mumbling to the TARDIS. It's lonely. There's always been a risk traveling with the Doc. From getting stuck in witch trials to all the shit the master put us through, but it's never mattered because we had each other. I miss her." A knock on the door made us all jump and Kara got up to answer it. Alex walked in with a sad smile. She walked up to Yaz and gave her a tight hug.
"Warning, I have my gun. Unless she personally sees it, please don't tell the doc I have it." Yaz laughed.
"I won't."
Yaz and Alex walked into the TARDIS first. Kara could tell I was hesitant.
"It's fine, it's bigger on the inside." She smiled and she was right. The inside was stunning.
"Hey girl, I got some help, think you can get us back to Sheffield?" Yaz said to the controls. I was about to ask what she was doing but the soft hum from the walls of the box told me it was complicated. Yaz clearly sensed my confusion.
"TARDIS has a mind of her own, she can be a lil shit sometimes though. The amount of squabbles her and the Doc get into is quite amusing." Yaz smiled at the memory.
"Question: the doctor? Is that her actual name?" Yaz nodded.
A bump and slight shake made us all aware of the fact we'd landed, wherever that was.
