Butters Pov
I put my keys in the door and opened it as quietly as possible. I close it as gently not trying to disturb my parents who are watching some stupid cooking show. I tiptoe my way up the stairs and into my room, letting out a sigh of relief that my father didn't catch me. I pack my bag neatly inside my closet and sit on my bed. It's so strange to think that Kenny doesn't like his friends anymore, they seemed so inseparable. Maybe it's my fault for being so attracted to Kenny but... I don't know, I mean he seemed really excited to see me too. I mean they have changed a lot over the years, Stan is kind of a skid, all he does is drink and when he's in school he doesn't pay attention at all. Kyle has been growing distant from the boys behaviour because of his religion or something. And Eric is... Eric. He hasn't changed one bit, but that doesn't mean it's a good thing. All those together it's a disaster. Oh well, I don't really talk to them anyway, we were all really close until Kenny got arrested. From then on they seemed to have grown a bit power hungry due to the lack of restraint from Kenny.The only people I talk to in our school are Tweak, Craig, Clyde, and Token. They've changed a bit too but it was a good kind of change. Clyde joined the basketball team and now he's a total chad, super outgoing and athletic. Token has been trying super hard in school so that he can get accepted into medical school. One thing I really like about Token is that he's always willing to help me with my school work. Craig took anger management classes and now he's a nice guy, he doesn't flip people off like he used to, he's still kind of a dick but he can control himself. Tweeks dad got arrested for selling cocaine and his mother decided to change his coffee intake, he is a lot less anxious than he used to be and is way more collected. Ever since his dad left him and his mom have had a really quiet and peaceful life. Now that I think about it my life is really the only thing that hasn't changed, I still get grounded all the time and my dad is super strict. But now that Kenny is back I hope I'll have more to look forward to in my life. Speaking of Kenny, the only thing that has changed about him is the fact that he's not taller than Clyde, hehe. But I figured he'd be stronger too, I mean... didn't he assault someone in prison?
