A Tale of Three tribes.

The beginning to everything also means the end of your freedom.

Tension is high in the room. No one even bothered to break the uncomfortable silence that is taking over the room. Not even the young children that occupied the room dared to make so much as a peep. The proposal so far off from what they all thought that they were here to agree upon.  Dread was actually clear on one (h/c) girl's face as she looked between two of the clan leaders. One of them being her father while the other being another tribe's head family leader. Her fate is completely in their hands. She looked between the men, her (e/c) eyes never resting as they moved back and forth to see who would laugh first and it being a really bad joke. To her dismay no one laughed or even cracked a smile. The tension so thick she could cut it with the dagger she kept on her hip. She began to open her mouth ready to talk and explain herself and why this seemed so ridiculous but her father and head of her family spoke instead, probably for the best as to not embarrass herself or her clan's name. "Todoroki, out of all respect My daughter, (y/n) hasn't even presented yet. She is still a child and you want to marry her off to your eldest son." 
Both Alpha males seem to be sizing the other up after he made his claim, making the room even more intense than before. These are two very powerful clans clashing. "That is the point (l/n), she is still young and has already hit the age of  puberty. if she hasn't presented yet as an Alpha or Omega then she is obviously a beta, no point in trying to hold off any longer. she will wed my son and that will unite the two tribes into peace. Isn't that what you want lord Yagi." The man known as lord Todoroki looks at the man in question. The boy next to him sucks in a quick breath and holds it praying quietly that his father doesn't agree and sign away his best friend's life to the cruel older man.
moments pass in silence as the Tribe leader thinks. (Y/N) catches the boy's eyes and looks ready to cry making the omega male want to comfort her but he forced himself to stay by his father's side waiting for him to pass judgement and either accept the proposal or deny it and have to call this meeting for another day. "I will agree to this." "WHAT?" Three voices shout at the decision of their leader. (Y/n) burst into tears as her father bares his teeth and clenches his fist ready to jump the opposing male alpha in order to protect his pup. "With all do respect Yagi, but my daughter is only thirteen while Todoroki's son is twenty-three, an adult, who is already mated to Rei, her cousin of a different branch." with a quick angry glance from the chief the man is silenced and sent back into a glare. "(L/N), you will remember your place, this should be an honor for your clan that a higher ranking family wants to take in your daughter. a chief's family at that! (Y/N) has not presented yet and therefore is to be treated as a beta that status cannot save your clan from being disbanded after failing to produce an Alpha." "Tch, I never said I would take her as a bride (L/N), you're right I wouldn't want to take a child as a mate, even though it is a common practice to insure as many births of strong pups as possible. But understand that it is also as custom in the Hellfire tribe to have more than one mate all varying in age and status and even their second gender. Your daughter is to marry my son Touya, he has recently presented as an Alpha. He will make a good mate to your girl and pup her nicely." Low growls came from her father, the alpha of her clan, daring the Todoroki to continue to cross the lines.
Panicked and confused by the conversation, the young girl runs out the room in distraught that only her childhood friend could pick up with her not having a second gender scent with being a beta, the older omega  soon starts running after her. Annoyed by the girl's ungranted leave the elder of the hellfire tribe sends out his son. "Enji, retrieve the girl." with that another male gets up and follows after the other two that left. "Yang…" another Alpha tries to also send their heir to aid in the retrieval if needed to notice that they have already left. "That damn brat." 
mean while a short distance from the tent that was holding the council meeting four teenagers were playing a game of chase. The one taking the lead in the game of chase, trying to just disappear from everyone and just sort out her feelings, another, trying to comfort a friend and crush, the other sent to retrieve his runaway daughter in law, and the last one also to make sure that their friend was okay. Being engaged to one of the most notorious families for violence isn't the best of news to be had for anyone. Especially when they had to watch their own cousin dwindle down to nothing by the man who is now in charge of the neighboring tribe. 
Sniffing and hiding behind a close by hut the girl tried to compose herself. This isn't supposed to happen, arranged marriage is common with higher ranking families sure but Rei was already married off to that cruel man! And her older sister was married to another Alpha that was apart of the third reigning tribe. She was supposed to be able to stay in her birth tribe! She was supposed to take her Dad's place as a warchief. How can chief Yagi do this to her! "(y/n)-chan!" She flinches hearing her friend call for her, he probably just came to bring her back and submit to the other Alphas. 
"She might have went that way Yagi-senpai." Came the indifferent voice of another Alpha that she has come to know well. "Yang we have to find her before Aizawa or Todoroki find her. Also call me Toshinori" He sounded panicked and it made her want to show herself and comfort the omega but the fear of the older Alpha stopped her from leaving her hiding spot. 
"Isn't Aizawa part of your tribe. Shouldn't he be helping you and your cause?" again the voice was indifferent by the nonbinary Alpha. "Yes… But it is complicated." the two continue their chat as they looked, passing her by with ease of her staying in hiding. Too bad she let her guard down with one success just to fail right after.
"You know. If you're picking a place to hide you might want to not have your ass sticking out where anyone can see it and give you away." The poor girl jumps and falls out of the bush she was hiding behind. "S..shouta! W..why are you here, I thought you stayed back with your alpha sire." she panics even more like prey about to be eaten. He reaches for her ready to drag her back kicking and fighting but before he could a flash of yellow stands between them before disappearing again with the girl. 
"How mature of you Toshinori." The teen grumbles with a defeated sigh at the end. He turns to leave and just head back to his mother who is no doubt still in the meeting hall. 
A hand clinging onto a soft loose material and eyes closed as to not get sick when the world around them seemed to flash by.  "You okay, (y/n)?" The young omega looks down at his friend on his arms blushing a little. "I.. I will be when you finally stop moving so fast, damnit Toshi you can really make someone sick doing this." Eyes screwed shut even tighter as she tried to hold her lunch down. After a few seconds the boy comes to light jog before coming to a complete stop. 
"Heh heh, sorry. But really are you okay?" He sets her back on her feet to stand but stays on alert just in case someone finds them. It was quiet for a moment. The female tries to get her thoughts together and debates if she will tell him the truth even when she does figure it out.  The male waiting for her response.
With a short nod and a fake smile she meets his eyes. "It was pretty childish of me to run out like that wasn't it?" Toshinori goes to say something, to defend her actions but before he could she continues. "This is for the good of our tribes right? Besides I could be mated to someone worse, the infamous Endeavor could have wanted me for himself and not his son." she bites her lip trying to fight back the waterworks. "Besides just because Enji is a piece of shit mate to my cousin doesn't mean his son will be the same way towards me right?" She sniffles as Toshinori lifts his hand and reaches for her. wanting nothing more than to comfort her in her time of grief. He stopped short as she spoke the next sentence that broke his heart. "Tell me it will all be okay Toshi, please?"
Toshinori didn't know what to do in that moment, she needed him and he wanted so badly to have her in his arms, so out of instinct he pulled the younger to his chest and set off comforting pheromones. Smells of vanilla and coconut fill her senses as well as an undertone of his natural fresh linen smell and efficiently calming her down. "It will be more than okay (Nickname), I will make this different somehow, I just need to talk to my father and this will be fixed." She smiles a little through her tears not that he can see her face with it buried into his chest. "Don't make promises that you can't keep Toshinori. What chief Yagi says goes. you may be his son and the next omega leader but you have no power yet. I will be mated to Touya and that is it. I will be forced to leave my home and tribe to join his. we will barely see each other again. you will be mated to a strong alpha male from the other-" he cut her off quickly "THE ONLY ONE I WANT IS YOU!" she jumped a little at his shouting and declaration. 
'H..he wants me?' no no no this has to be a mistake right? She lets off a short chuckle and looks up at the boy. "Toshi, don't be silly. I have nothing to offer the tribe if you were to mate me. Come on now lets head back, with Yang, Aizawa, and you looking for me I'm sure that the next in line Todoroki is looking for me too and I don't want to worry my father and bring shame to my clan's name any further. lets go-" Once again he cut her off before she could complete her sentence and rejection to his confession. He doesn't even know what came over him but there they are lips locked for anyone to see. her green blue eyes open wide in surprise with his cyan eyes just as wide and surprised by his own actions. but ever so slowly as she didn't pull away did he let his start to fall heavy.
