My Therian Dreams

March 4th~
Yesterday I fell asleep cuddling my mate on the bus only to be jolted awake from a dream. In my dream I was a sled dog leading my group over a frozen lake. It seemed stable and everything was going smoothly until most of the pack was off the ice and we heard a crack! I turned around just in time to see the end of the sled slipping into the water. We tried to pull it out and eventually we did but as if time had froze the sled reached the bank of the lake, I saw her look of shock as her body slowly fell towards the ice. I fought to get free of my harness and it seemed like forever before I was able to bound towards her. I plunged into the icy water to save her or at least do my best. I could feel the prickling of the water in my fur and on my skin as my eyes shot open and I got pulled into a coughing fit as if I had held my breath ready to swim.
