Lan Zhan's Untamed (Lan Zhan x Wei Wuxian)

Fighting our way to the Fragrance Room which was the personal bed chamber of Jin Guang Yao, numerous number of the Jin disciples blocked our way. They were taught to be vigilant and ever alert which ment that our attack was intercepted by the clan. 

Nonetheless, I had to protect my Wei Ying. He did not have any weapon on his body. Covering his body with mine, we fought our way only to be met with Jin Ling and other Sect leaders, including my brother.

Hearing the commotion, Jin Guang Yao himself walked out of his chamber "Was the banquet not enough that you gave all accumulated in here?" The smile on his face was calm and collected. Something about this did not sit well with me.

My brother's gaze finds mine and I nod. Words were never required between us, he knew what my soul wanted to convey. Laced with unhappiness, he turned to Jin Guang Yao "We want to see your hidden room".

A relative of gasp went around and Jin Guang Yao looked perplexed "Brother, you want to see my Secret room? Why? All clans have them, what makes my room so special?"

"A Yao" my brother looks at Jin Guang Yao who in turn nods "fine, please enter". The other Sect leaders enter the room along with Wei Ying, but he pauses when he sees that I haven't joined the herd. "Lan Zhan" there's an urgency in his tone, but it makes me all the more weary. Shaking my head, I follow him and we walk accross a Gold Rimmed mirror.

A imperceptible gasp from Wei Ying goes unnoticed by other but not me. His eyebrows are scrunched up when he sees Madam Jin Qin Su, Jin Guang Yao's wife. She stands by on one corner of the room, all quite and subdued.

"What is Madam Jin doing here?" One Sect Leader questions. Jin Guang Yao looks back and smiles "we share a lot of treasure here, at times she comes in to look after the them" .

Looking around, my gaze lands on a shelf covered with a tarpaulin. Wei Ying walks over and removes the sheet only there was no head of Nie Mingjue. In place there was an odd looking dagger.

This really did not sit well with me. Our plan has backfired. Wei Ying's cover is going to be blown soon and there's nothing I can do to stop it.

Jin Guang Yao takes out the dagger and shows it to us "Is this what you're here for?" He smiles "it belonged to Wen Ruohan" just then Madam Jin lunges towards the dagger and before any of us could react, he stabs herself. Instantly she dies and falls on the ground.

"A Su" Jin Guang Yao cries out and clutches her head to his chest "why did you do that?". Looking grieve stricken, he questions my brother "What did you possibly want to see in this room?"

"A Yao" my brother pauses "I am sorry" he looks around helplessly.

"What's the meaning behind all this ZewuJun?" Jiang Cheng questions furiously and to add fuel to the fire, the leader of Moling Su Sects Leader Su She accuses further "Is this the way a prominent sect like the Lan Gusu should behave? Is this what you have downgraded yourself to?" His accusations towards my brother angers me. How dare he?

"Brother?" Jin Guang Yao looks at him "how did you know about the secret room? What did you want to find in here?".

Wei Ying shifts lightly next to me and he too has understood that this is not going according to his plan.

"Few days ago, the Lan disciples were invited to Mo Village. There they came accross a resentful hand and they brought him back to Gusu. On futher investigation carried out by Hanguang-Jun, we found out that the body belongs to Nie Mingjue and that his head" he pauses "is in here". It causes an uproar amongst everyone.
