THIS IS WAR | INFINITY WAR
Chapter Nine
⚡️

THE BATTLE BETWEEN WANDA, VISION and the children of Thanos proceeded without mercy to the surrounding streets and buildings around them. Wanda didn't hesitate to continue fighting, using all her strength and energy to fight Proxima and Corvus. She would protect Vision with everything she had, even if that meant loosing her life.

As Wanda worked quickly to try and heal the gaping wound in Vision's chest, she mentally prayed Jade was nearby with the others. Her fingers moved delicately, a red aura flowing off them as the wound began to heal. Only then was she disrupted.

Corvus had snuck up on them, Vision spotting him in the nick of time. The Superbot roughly shoved Wanda back so she could avoid the weapon, taking the hit himself before Corvus dragged him away. The two fighter proceeded to slam into multiple building, smash multiple windows and disrupt the basic structure of the bricks around them. Vision never once backed down.

After she regained herself, Wanda swiftly climbed to her feet. Her eyes widened as she saw the fight insue in the sky, going to fly after then when her hearing picked up on Proxima's footsteps and faint grunt.

She ducked, avoiding the Chitauri weapon the attacker wielded, waiting for the impact when no impact came. Wanda hesitantly looked back, a grin finding it's way on her face as she spotted the translucent barrier between Proxima and the pillar, it vividly pushing back forcefully.

Suddenly, with no mercy, Proxima's whole body was pulled back, the extraterrestrial being yelling in surprise. Her head snapped to look behind her only to meet the shoes of Jade.

The red hue originating from Jade's own necklace, a replica of the one she gave Wanda, shinned brightly and lit up the almost dimly lit street. The sorceress grunted, her hands clenched as she pulled the wind back and her feet collided with Proxima's face. The impact and wind she produced forced the creature to the other side of the street before Jade forced her up and into a window once again.

"Oh, we're having a talk about this," Jade said, her intense stare turning to Wanda as she pressed the button on the back of her own charm. It's intense glow died down at the one action.

Jade's hair was thrown up in a messy bun, her skin it's normal pale with her lips painted their typical red. Her outfit wasn't that interesting or unique, consisting of plain black leggings and a baige coloured jacket with sneakers to top it off.

She had hurried here as soon as she got the signal. Originally, Jade was in the stolen quinjet with the other outlaws, spending another boring day watching clouds go. Her charm had abruptly began to glow a vivid red, startling both her and the person who was with her at the time, Sam Wilson. She didn't even hesitate to leave the jet and fly over. Of course, that was after she gave the address to Sam to tell the others.

"There were two," Wanda quickly rushed out as Jade jogged over to her. Her hands gently rested on Wanda's shoulders as she obsorbed her hurried words. "One of them stabbed Vision and-and he can't phase and I don't know why they're here-" Wanda's hands created the bright scarlet aura again, making Jade look over her shoulder to see Proxima running at them.

A small tornado formed under Jade as Wanda threw and ball of energy at the alien. Clenching her hands into tight fist, Jade moved them in a circular motion and outwards, pushing the attacker further back as Wanda proceeded forward, catching Proxima's faulty fighting stance at that time.
