The moment you thought that your life could not get any more depressing, it just gets even more worse every day.

So you were a special human, you have a gift that only 2% of the entire world has, and that is the gift of being able to see other people's red strings which you may think is cool but once you look at your own finger and see that you don't have a red string then shit-

You didn't accept the fact that you didn't have a soulmate back then when you were way younger but now that you're 20 something years old and have never been in a relationship before you're starting to think otherwise.

"Welp I'm so fucking EXCITEDDD for my FUTUREEEE TOTALLYYY~!" You said sarcastically with a forced smile on your face. The Matsuno brothers laughed at your silliness.

"Just try and be positive for once, (Y/N) I'm sure your time hasn't come yet" Osomatsu said with a smug smile, you glared at the boy.

"You're just thankful that you have a red string" You folded your arms together with a pout, you see Osomatsu blushing and smilling to himself like an idiot.
"Oh that reminds me, (Y/N) who does MY red string connect to?" Totty asked out of curiosity, he and the rest of the brothers have asked this question almost billions of times now. And despite the many answers you gave them they still wouldn't shut up.

"Ugh, for god's sake Totty I don't know who it connects to!" You shouted at him, but that's when all of the other brothers started asking aswell.

"(Y/N)! Does mine connect to yours?"
"Does mine connect with Totoko?"
"(Y/N), which finger does my red string tie up with?"
"(Y/NNNN)!!!! Is mine connected with Homura?!"
"(Y/N) I have a red string right??"

You just ignored their questions and rolled your eyes, regretting coming to the sextuplets house cause you knew that they would go bonkers with the questions that you listen everyday constantly.

"H-hey (Y/N)? Who does my red string conmect to?" Choromatsu asked you, this was the final straw and you just snapped and started yelling at him.

"My god I don't fucking care who any of your red strings connects to okay?! I'm sick of listening to the same damn-" Something then caught your attention that made you stop mid sentance. You stare off at both Choromatsu's hands and fingers and realized that....

He doesn't have the red string either

You stuttered at your words cause of how shocked you were, this was the first time you've seen someone else not having a red string.

"Uhhh, (Y/N)?" Ichimatsu said while waving his hand in front of you.

"A-ah! Right uhmm....nevermind...." You looked away embarrassingly but you still couldn't take your eyes off of Choromatsu's hands.

"Is something wrong, Karamatsu girl?" Karamatsu asked with an eyebrow raised, you shake your head with an awkward smile and reassured everyone it was nothing.

Everyone then went back to their own activities, you see Choromatsu reading a magazine on the Akatsuka table all by himself with no red string around his finger. You could've sworn there was a red string on him but I guess you weren't paying attention enough?

You sat beside Choromatsu and tugged on his sleeve.
"Hey, Choromatsu?"
"Hm? Wh-what is it, (Y/N)?"
"I....I need to tell you something, something that might be a bit hurtful for you...." You said with a sad tone, you obviously didn't want to make him sad but you've got to tell him.

"Choromatsu, you....you don't have a red string...." You whispered to him quietly so you wouldn't embarrass him in front of his brothers, his mouth was agape and his eyebrows narrowed upwards.

"(Y-Y/N) you're....you're kidding right? If this is a joke it's not f-funny....." He said with a forced smile, you shake your head and you see his eyebrows slowly curve. You knew what it felt like to not have a Soulmate and it took you quite awhile to overcome it.

You felt very bad for him to hear that terrible news, maybe it would've been better if you never told him at all?

That whole fiasco happened around three weeks ago, you were back yet again in the Matsuno household but the sextuplets all left except for Choromatsu. The two of you decided to watch some good ol' TV and just relax.

"Choro...."
"Yeah? What is it, (Y/N)?"
"Have you gotten used to knowing you won't have a Soulmate?" You mumbled to him, you hear him let out a big sigh followed by his silent thinking.

"I guess so, I mean I know that one day my dumbass brothers will make fun of me for it which sucks but whatever" He shrugs, you rubbed your arm. You then smiled at him and patted his shoulder.

"It's fine, you'll get used to it. It's better being single rather than being in a toxic relationship am I right?" You chuckled, Choromatsu stared at you for a moment with a crimson red blush all over his face. He smiles and chuckles.

"I guess so...." He mutters, the both of you stare at eachother's eyes like those clichés in movies. You never realized it but Choromatsu looked really adorable up close like this, his cute frog frown and his big blushy and sweating face.

"Choro, just k-know that if you never truly find anyone to love or be in a relationship with....I'm always here being alone too!" You chuckled again, that's when something caught your attention. On the corner of your eye you see something red magically appear near your finger. You turned your head and saw a red string tied around your finger, and it connects with Choromatsu's.

"(Y-Y/N)....? Something wrong?" Choromatsu asked in concern on why you're randomly staring at your hands. You sigh with a big smile on your face.

"It's....it's nothing Chorofappyski, let's just enjoy watching TV together....." You ruffled up Choromatsu's hair and rest your head on his shoulder. The boy in the green hoodie was confused but he was flustered and yet enjoying this moment so he didn't mind.

You were just so happy you have found your Soulmate, and sitting beside him watching the TV screen was absolutely the best feeling in the world.
