Ch.10

I was sitting on the ground next to Chavez as I leaned my head on his shoulder, "So D*ck whos next?" William asked Richard.

"You." Richard finished.

We went into hiding sorta as I heard someone say "Sh*t.' Morton kneeled down to the ground. "What's wrong?" Baker asked.

"I mean, I found some horsesh*t." Morton picked up the brown clump. "They come out from Sierra Bonita just this morning. Horses been grazing wild. Pretty d*mn good, don't you think, Baker?" Morton laughed.

Chavez had a dangerous grin as he quietly crept behind Morton, twirling his knife, and then held it against Morton's throat. the other regulator's jumped up or rode up,, guns ready to fire, surprising the men.

"Not that good." Chavez said. Buenos dias, sh*theads." Richard greeted.

"You don't understand Dick." Baker jumped In "By killing Henry Hill you have started war."

"By killing Mr. Tunstall you all started the d*mn war, Baker." I said sharply. Chavez released his grip on Morton and walked away.

"Just the same." said Morton. "We're talking fifty, sixty men against what? seven or eight and with a girl pathetic. Were the Ring, Dick." making me point my gun as if I was gonna shoot him his eyes going wide.

"What did you say?" I said and than shot near his face missing on purpose and smirked as he stayed quiet I flipped my gun on one finger than placed it back in the case.

"You see I only missed on purpose... that time." I said smirking. I took it out again spinning it than steadily pointing it at him making him scared again.

"Alright that's enough for the show time." Doc said.

I noticed William going to Morton whos in the middle of everyone.

"Were gonna burry you. You can believe that." William whispered as Morton tried backing a bit away from him.

"Quiet Bonney." Richard snapped at William.
"We're taking you to jail. No killing." Richard said eyeing me.

"Objection, your honor." William said.

"These boys are going to the grave in the name of John Tunstall." William said going against his plan.

"I said quiet, Billy." Richard said sternly.

"I don't need that kind of talk. Law don't talk like that." Richard said.

"Yeah the Law don't kill innocent merchants either, do it?" Steve said looking at me.

"Shut up, dirt face." Doc said sticking up for me.

"Guys this is what they want is us to turn on each other." I said.

"She's right." Doc said.

"Take the son of a b*tches up to Captain Mountain and blow their brains out." William said loudly as if going crazy.

"What do you say, Steve?" he nodded eagerly, chuckling.

"Hey, Billy, Easy." McCloskey said before turning to Richard.

"Dick, I don't think we should go by the South Fork."

"Why's that?"

"I think Murphey will be watching the trail and they'll ambush. I think we should go straight to Lincoln." McCloskey stated.

He shared a glance with Morton. William looked at McCloskey then back Morton switching over the two.

"Hey." William spoke.

"What?" the ex Murphy man said.

"I saw that."

"What? What'd you just see?" Charley asked.

"He knows what I just saw." William said taking a phew steps forward. McCloskey started walking backward, into Doc and I.

"What are you talking about?" McCloskey stuttered.

"Where's the ambush, McCloskey? Lincoln? You're trying to steer us away from Captain because you know your men." William shouted as interrogating.

"Murphys Men!" William shouted before calming down.

"Are waiting to jump us in Lincoln." William said looking at me.

"Billy what are you talking about? He's a regulator." Richard said.

"I think he's right..." I said making everyone look at me.

"Yeah, but he used to ride with Murphey. That's what I'm talking about." William said.

"He's a spy!" I yelled making them stare at me in shock.

"He's been with us. We made a pact. Right, McCloskey?" Richard asked yelling basically.

"Right, jeez Billy and Mary come on." McCloskey said putting his hand out towards William who he had gun point at McCloskey.

Morton tried to move but Steve and the others got there guns ready.

William sighed, putting his gone away and shook his hand "Ah, Sh*t I'm sorry McCloskey." Making me confused.

"Hey, It's alright. We're all upset about John." McCloskey.

"Sorry, I didn't sniff you out sooner." I said realizing his plan, putting my gun behind his back.

"You traitor!" I yelled as I soon shot McCluskey.

"Mary, No!" Richard yelled.

William shot him again sending him flying into the river. Morton and baker took this chance to run.

Chavez threw his knife at one of the guys on the horses killing them.

William started shooting.

"Hold your fire!" Richard shouted only to kill the other one.

Doc used his rifle to shoot baker.

"I said hold your fire!" Richard snapped.

"Get that son of a b*tch. Doc mentioned towards Baker.

Baker tried getting up to run but Steve shot him first.

Baker fell into the bushes dead.

"Court adjourned!" announced William.

"Morons!" Richard yelled at William and I.

"You're both out of line you son of a b*tch!" Richard yelled angrily.

"Richard they're both right." Doc spoke up looking at me.

"McCloskey was acting strange." Doc said.
