(As i'm writing this, the decision whether the country gets put on lockdown is currently being discussed so I may be writing a lot more.

Update: just finished writing this and we've been on lockdown for a week. I don't have school work for another two weeks as it would be half term anyway so hopefully I can bring you guys some more chapters)

Yaz was the first out, followed by Alex, Kara and myself. 2 boys one around the age of 20 and the other around 60? Yaz walked up to them and gave them both a hug.
"Ryan, Graham, This is Alex and Lena. Alex, Lena, this is Ryan and Graham." Yaz introduced. We said our hellos and all headed back to Yap's.
"Be warned, my mom is there so you will get asked a lot of questions." We nodded and I slowed my pace to walk by Ryans side, Kara talking to Alex.
"I'm guessing you travel with Yaz and the doctor?" I started. He smiled slightly.
"Yeah, Graham is my grandad and i've known Yaz since primary school. Im guessing either Kara or Yaz has filled you in about the Doc?" I nodded.
"So you and Kara?" He asked.
"Yeah, times are rough at home but she's always there for me."
"World dominating aliens?"
"That and a psychotic mother and brother who spend their lives trying to murder me or go after Kara."
"Oh shit."
"Yeah, wouldn't change it for the world though, you know?"
"Yeah, we face so many things with the doc but I don't think I could give it up. When we first found her, she couldn't even remember her own name. Before we first ran into the master, she was relatively happy, but ever since that, she hasn't been the same. Now I understand why." I offered him a smile.
"We'll find her." He smiled in return.

We were now stood outside Yaz's apartment door.
"Hey mum!" Yaz called as she opened the door.
"Hey sweetie I- Oh. Hello." Yaz's mom smiled as she saw us all.
"New friends?" She asked Yaz.
"Yeah."
"Wheres the Doc." The atmosphere was suddenly tense.
"Im guessing by your reactions, that's the whole reason you're here." Yaz nodded and her mom wore a sad smile.
"I'll make you all some tea. We haven't met before, im Najia." She said to me and Kara while the others moved further into the apartment.
"Kara, this is my Girlfriend and my Sister." Kara said, shaking Najia's hand.
"I'm lena." I said with a polite smile and Alex did the same.
"Alex." Najia returned the gesture. I could tell she was confused by our clothes. We certainly didn't fit in.

We all sat around Yaz's living room, a gloomy mood settled like a blanket of snow. We'd been at it for hours, trying to think of a way to get the Doc home. Najia had gone out for a while so we could talk in peace.
"There is one person who may know?" Yaz piped up after a moment of silence.
"Who?" I asked.
"One of the Doc's old friends. Jack Harkness."
"The dude that warned us of the cybermen?" Ryan asked and Yaz nodded.
"How'd we reach him?" Alex asked.
"That I have no idea of. He found us last time." A knock on the door made us all jump.
"Expecting anyone?" Alex asked, her hand reaching for her holster. Yaz shook her head.
Kara got up first, the rest of us following cautiously behind. The door swung open and a man stood on the other side. His hair slightly scruffy and his clothes torn in places.
"Jack." Yaz said happily. I saw kara relax and open the door further for him to come in. He followed us Into the living room.
"We were just saying we needed to find you." Yaz said.
"I guessed you would be." He said, his expression masked.
"You know where she is?" Yaz questioned and he nodded.
"Judoon high security prison." He said sadly.
"The judoon!" Ryan said in shock and Jack nodded.
"Came to pick her up because they didn't catch ruth last time and since ruth is her, they took her."
"Is she?" Yaz couldn't finish the sentence and by the look on jacks face, I guessed the answer wasn't great.
"I'm not going to sugar coat it. She's in a bad way."
"What are we going to do?" Kara asked, her grip on my hand tightening slightly in a protective manner.
"Infiltrate the prison. Go undercover if needed."
"We're going to infiltrate Judoon High security prison? Its never going to work." Ryan said.
"Who are the Judoon?" Alex asked.
"An Extraterrestrial Species Of Mercenary Police." Yaz answered.
We all sat in silence for a moment.
"And if this doesn't work? What happens to her?" Kara asked sadly.
"I dread to think." Jack said, sadness breaking through his facade.
"I need some air." Yaz said getting up and walking out.
"I'll go check on her." I said, following her out. When I got outside I found her sat watching the city. I sat silently beside her, the moon illuminating the tears rolling down her face. I wrapped my arm around her and she rested her head on my shoulder.
"I can't loose her." She cried.
"I can't say I know because I don't. I don't know what you guys face on a daily basis, I don't know much about any of you but I do know one thing. Through the stories from you and the others and from what i've witnessed. I know you're all strong. You guys for making it through all you do and even now, sat in there when hope is lost, none of you are giving up. And from what I've heard, the Doc is a badass. I'm sure the thought of seeing you again is giving her an even bigger reason to keep fighting." I said just loud enough for her to hear me. We sat in silence for a while before she spoke.
"Most people wouldn't know what to say or they'd say the wrong thing. What you said helped though."
"I know that when people say it's going to be fine, everything will work out that it doesn't do much for reassurance but telling them the truth helps." Silence surrounded us again, the only noise coming from the cars and street chatter below.
"We'd just got back from Gallifrey when I saw the TARDIS in her usual spot, some part of me believed that when I opened the door, there would be a bumbling alien arguing with herself, tinkering on parts of the control or shovelling her face with custard creams. When I realised she wasn't there, it hurt. Ryan and Graham both went home, they didn't think she'd made it out in time, that even though KO went back, she got caught in the blast with everything else. But I would've known. I don't know how but I had a feeling she was still out there somewhere. Other than the Doc, I only knew one other alien that could help and that's how I ended up with you both." She let out a sigh.  The shudder of her shoulders let me know she was trying to hold back a sob.
"As someone who often if not always holds back their emotions, let me tell you it doesn't help, it's okay to cry." I hugged her tighter and her body started to shake as tears fell from her eyes.
"I'm so scared." She cried. I stroked her shoulder with my thumb, hoping to give her some kind of reassurance.

Karas POV
Lena left to go after Yaz and we all sat in silence until they returned. Yaz sat by Alex and Lena came back to sit in between my legs. No one said anything for a while until jack turned and addressed me and Alex.
"Are you two with the doctor too?"
"Sort of. The Doc got a distress call from our planet and we ended up fighting some Aliens with her." I replied.
"So you're not human?" He asked.
"Alex is human. We come from earth, just the earth in this earths sister solar system."
"That makes you?" Graham asked.
"I'm a kryptonian."
"If you don't mind me asking, how does that make you sisters?" Ryan motioned between Alex and me.
"I was born on Krypton. When I was 13, my mother put me and my baby cousin in pods and sent us to earth. The destruction of my planet knocked my pod into a phantom zone, a place where no time passes while my cousin made it to earth. Something knocked my pod and I made it to earth 24 years later, still at the age of 13. When I got to earth, Kal was already grown up, known to the world as superman. He left me with the danvers' and that's where I met Alex. We didn't get along at first but we've been inseparable since then. Alex was on a crashing plane and by saving it, I came out to the world as supergirl." I explained.
"You're from a dead planet too?" Graham asked.
"Yeah, a small part remains on a floating astroid in space but other than that, its fully destroyed." A silence fell over us all and lena intertwined her hands with mine. I took in all the faces around the room. Yaz looked heartbroken, Jack, Ryan and Graham all wore the same fearful expression and Alex was trying her best to keep Yaz calm.
"We should all get some sleep. Long day tomorrow." Jack said and we all agreed.

I stared up at the ceiling. Yaz was asleep in her room, Graham on the sofa with Ryan and Alex on the floor. Jack spent most of the night staring out the window and Lena fell asleep on my chest as I hovered above the ground. Yaz's parents didn't mind us all staying, they'd guessed something was up and headed to bed with limited questions. I let my eyes close, my body relaxing as I wrapped my arms around Lenas waist. The day ahead was going to be life or death for the Doc and it all lied in our hands.
