" Good morning honey and happy 3rd wedding anniversary. I love you so much" I greeted my wife as she open her eyes.
She gave me her sweetest smile.
And I love that. I keep on loving that.
"Good morning love . Happy 3rd anniversary. I love you too. " She greeted back and it caused me to blush.
I'm a man but I keep on blushing when my wife says sweet words.
" What do you want for breakfast?I'll cook for you. " I asked her sweetly.
"I want waffle and pancake . But don't you have work? Today is Monday diba you have meeting with the board members every Monday?" She said with a sad tone.
"Ah yeah. But ofcourse today is a special day. Ill ask my secretary to resched it nalang. " I assured her.
I kissed her forehead.
" Oh really,hmm, so let's go and cook breakfast together. " she said and smiled.
Everything went fine.
The following days were good.
Until one day, I was at the backyard to check how our garden is going.
I went in to our house for some reason.
I heard my wife, she's home.
" Sean, please leave me alone. If Theo will find out that were having an affair he will hate me. I don't want him to hate me Sean. Please leave me alone. " I heard my wife begging to my bestfriend.
" Devon,please please let go. Hayaan mo na siya, I'm here. I can make you happy. Please let him go. " My bestfriend answered with his lower voice.
" No Sean, babalik siya, babalikan niya ako. " I heard my wife insisted.
" Devon please, Theo died three years ago. Matagal na siyang wala, please let him go. And I'm sure he's happy wherever he is right now. Please,maging masaya ka para sa kaniya. " Sean,my bestfriend explained.
And then it reminds me of what really happened three years ago.
I remember how my bestfriend shot me just to be with my wife.
He killed me to be with his first love.
