Loosen Up, Black!

Down By the Lake

**Sunny and warm Saturday the Marauders and the Girls have decided to go for a swim in the lake for fun (Sirius and Marlene are not together at this point)**

"The last one to the lake gets a dung bomb thrown in their dorm " screeched Sirius from the entrance hall of Hogwarts as soon as the Girls reach the group of Marauders whom Sirius also caught off guard with his challenge.

"You're on, Black!!" I shrieked in reply as I sprinted after him with Lily laughing right behind my James kept up with Lily and I. Dorcas and Alice followed us with Remus only jogging to keep up with his long legs, it was obvious he was sore from his 'furry little problem but that didn't stop him from not wanting to get a dung bomb in the Marauders dorm. Mary followed closely behind Dorcas and Alice. Poor Peter brought up the rear, I guess it would be the Marauders dorm to get the dung bomb this time. We all reached our usual tree by the lake and threw down our towels all of us except Remus were bent over hands on our knees trying to regain steady breathing after our fun little sprint.

"Looks like you lost, Black, Peter was last down here good thing we don't have classes tomorrow so you guys will be able to get the smell out of your clothes!" I teased nudging Sirius with my shoulder as I walked over to lay my towel out in the shade of our tree. Sirius grabbed my arm before I got too far away and smirked at me.

"You won't be able to get a dung bomb in our dormitory we'll have someone stationed there until tomorrow when the bet expires" retorted Sirius thinking he was so smart. I shrugged my shoulders and simply replied

"I'll set Dorcas up to the task" and pulled my arm out of his grasp and watched the color drain from his face, he knew as well as the rest of us, Dorcas easily got away with damn near to impossible pranks. 

"Are we going to swim or did I just run down here for nothing except to watch you bicker and tease one another?" complained Alice. there was a murmur of agreement from the rest of the group and with that, we took off our cover layer of clothes to reveal our swimsuits. Alice was wearing a floral one piece that looked amazing on her hourglass image. Dorcas wore a cute black one-piece that matched her soul as she said. Mary was in a baby blue one piece with an open back which I was surprised to see her in, I guess when we usually go swimming it's not with the guys so their all paying it safe in their one-pieces. I turned to Lils as she removed her oversized cover-up shirt that hid her navy blue two-piece that she looked extremely sexy in. I turned to see if James was watching and he was, it was funny he looked like a small child look around a candy shop.

"Like what you see, Potter?" I asked which caused Lily to whip around and James to look away blushing then he decided to remove his shirt. This time it was Lily who was staring, I giggled and tapped Sirius' shoulder drawing his attention to the situation.

"Anything you like, Lily-Flower?" Laughed Sirius. during this exchange, I hadn't noticed Peter take off his shirt and go running for the lake in which Alice, Mary, and Dorcas were already swimming and splashing about. Remus was laying up against the tree on the sunny side with his shirt off. And the only ones still in cover-ups were Sirius and me. 

"Let me guess Marlene McKinnon is second-guessing her body for once in her life because you actually care about what a certain Black thinks of you?" whispered Lily into my ear. I rolled my eyes and blushed slightly.

"You're mental, Lils, I'd never doubt my appearance I just don't want to show-off" I retorted lying through my teeth, I'd never admitted it to Lily but she was right. Not wanting Lily to ask any more questions or be right anymore I took off my cover shirt to reveal my high-waisted yellow two-piece that's top tied around the back of my neck. The reaction I got from my friends made me blush and laugh. Alice wolf-whistled from the lake, Dorcas smiled and mouthed 'nice swimsuit...new?' to which I nodded in reply and mouthed 'thanks bb', Mary gave me a thumbs-up, and Lily's reaction was my favorite it was the same I got every time she thought I look sexy.
