Locked Secrets

AsI walked throw the whining twisting wood cold dark and damp with rainI heard screaming. I followed silently towards the sound of talkingevery leaf and twig beneath my feet getting louder as I came closer, until before my eyes was a boy tall scrawny and pale as frost withhair to match. Eyes as red as blood.

Holdinga gun to a woman's head, She whispered loudly with much fear 'let mego.' He smirked, a dark twisted smile crawled across his face as a deep shallow voice hissed did you let him go without a bullet in himshe seemed to fill with regret and fright as she spoke to hisresponse 'no I'm sorry I didn't have a choice .' The boy spoke withsadness and anger 'goodbye.' and pulled the trigger blood sprayedacross his face and clothes, everything was silent as if waiting forthe body to hit the forest floor.

Then suddenly the boy looked me straight in the eyes and spoke chillingly I was paralyzed 'goodbye Sorcha.' then pointed the gun between my eyes frozen in fear Icouldn't move he pulled the trigger. I thought I died but woke up frombed in a cold sweat I groaned and rolled over having a bad headache.

Tilmy alarm went off I desisted to get up now feeling a little dizzy. Iwent to get ready for the day as my roommate knocked on the door. 'Come in!' I yelled as I rushed to fix my messy hair he walked in andsaid' Sorcha you're going to be late for work.' I cursed under my breathhe walked up behind me and said 'hey um later we have to go to myparent's home to grab some things we forgot.' I looked at Alex andsighed 'I totally forgot about that.' 

I got out of bed as Alex closed the door. Sighing I got dressed in my work uniform then went to brush my teeth and hair. After getting ready I went to the kitchen to get breakfast. Alex made bacon and eggs. The house filled with the aroma of the cooking bacon. Once done eating I grabbed my car keys then went out to the car. 

As after arriving at work my boss came to my desk 'Goodmorning, can you help the new guy out? he requested you to teach him the basics." I looked up confused 'um sure I guess.'  getting up from my comfy desk chair. walking out of my office cubicle. My boss introduced me to the new guy, 'Arrow this is Sorcha.' 'Nice to meet you Arrow, as mentioned I'm Sorcha.' 'yes, nice to meet you as well Sorcha.' i walked over to the desk and showed him the basics he wasn't very talkative it was more an awkward silence that seemed to fill the once loud office with the now quiet eerie feeling.          

Once done showing him the basics. I went on lunch break I could feel his eyes on me the entire time. Once I was done for the day I left. I went to go pick up Alex to stop by his parent's house to pick up some of his things from their house.
