Your P.O.V.
"What a jerk," Marcia furrows her eyebrows.
"I don't know, you outta respect his determination," Cherry says, looking him up and down.
"Sorry about that, Bob," I apologize, "The guy won't leave me alone."
"Why?" Randy asks. I could tell he was getting a little protective.
"I don't know, he wants to know my name," I shrug, "But he's awfully pushy."
"You talkin' bout Dally?"I look up at Sodapop, the guy who worked at the DX when I stole the packs of Kools.
"Yeah," I nod, "He wants to know my name so badly. Can you tell him to lay off?"
"I'll do what I can, but when Dally wants something, he usually gets it," Soda frowns, walking away.
"Isn't he handsome?" Marcia says after he leaves."Yeah, but he's dating that Sandy girl," Cherry nods.
"He looks a little too much like a movie star for me," I tilt my head, "But whatever floats your boat."
In eight period I sit next to Ponyboy. He was one of the nicer greasers. Actually, everyone but Dallas was pretty nice.
"Hey, Y/N," He smiles.
"Hey Pony, thanks for not blowing my cover," I laugh."No problem," He shrugs, "Hey, you may wanna watch out for Evie, Sylvia, and Sandy. They were talking pretty bad about you."
"Yeah, I'm used to girls like that," I shrug, frowning.
"You know they're just jealous, right?" Ponyboy smiles at me.
"Why would someone be jealous of me?" I ask.I let my guard down with Ponyboy, the first and only person at school I did that with.
"You kidding me? You're pretty, and funny, and nice, and cool," Ponyboy rambles on.
"Thanks, Pony," I put my hand on his, "You're really sincere."
"I try," Pony blushes.
After the last bell rings, Pony walks me to my locker. We see people crowding around.
We push through the crowd, and on my locker is written SLUT and it has polaroid pictures of Soda and Dallas talking to me.
"The hell?" Randy pushes through the crowd.
He sees my face and I see anger flash through his eyes. Curly and Tim show up to and get mad as well."Gee, attention seeking much?" Evie laughs passing by.
"Alright, show's over," Randy tears down the pictures while Tim spits into his handkerchief and wipes off the word.
"Hey, you okay, Y/N?" Ponyboy asks me.
"I'm fine," I bite my lip.
"Hey, let's go," Randy pulls on my sleeve. When him, Curly, Tim and I are out of earshot, he speaks up, "How about we have a sibling day?""Yeah, let's go to the Nightly Double," Tim nods, "I'll drive."
"Okay," I smile at them.
They act like they don't care most of the time, but they're really the best brothers I could ask for.
First, we walk around the shopping center and I pocket two more packs of cigarettes, a candy bar, and a couple bucks from a back pocket."Why do you do that? Mom and Dad have a lot of money," Randy asks.
"I don't do it because I want it, I do it because it's fun," I explain, "It's actually something wrong with my mental health. Probably something to do with Robert bailing out and Julia not wanting me."
"You know she regrets it, Y/N," Randy frowns.
"Yeah, the past is the past," I smile at him."Alright, let's go to the drive in," Curly says.
By the time we get there, it's about eight pm. Tim pays five dollars and parks the truck.
We get out and all four of us sit on the top of the truck.
We all laugh and joke as the first movie ends and the credits roll. Curly gets us our popcorn and drinks."Y'know, you aren't too bad," Tim tells Randy, "For a soc."
"You're not too bad either," Randy grins, "For grease."
"Yeah, yeah," Tim laughs, "You feelin' better, Texas?"
"Yeah," I nod, "You guys are the best brothers."
"Okay, don't go telling anyone," Randy pushes my shoulder."Hey, these guys are creeping," Curly points to Dallas and co. hiding behind a car.
"I know," I smile, "You guys are really bad at sneaking."
"So Tim and Curly are your brothers?" Dallas asks.
"So is Randy?" Ponyboy asks.
"Yup," I nod.
"Are you all related?" Johnny asks."My dad's Robert Shepard and my mom's Julia Adderson," I explain.
"Oh, that's why you sit with them," Two-Bit says.
"She's also in love with my best friend," Randy jokes.
"Bob wishes," I roll my eyes playfully, "I just didn't want Cherry and Marcia to worry.""Worry about what, hanging out with Grease?" Dallas raises his eyebrow.
Before I can answer, three girls walk up.
"Dallas, what the fuck are you doing near this slut?" Sylvia spits.
"Hey, calm down, Baby," Dallas puts his hands up in surrender, "I was just talking to her."
"You know she's just trying to get in your pants, right?" She scoffs."Actually, hun, I was just getting close to him so I can get into yours," I wink at her, causing the guys to all laugh.
"You're a dyke?!" Evie gags, "Ew!"
"What's wrong babe, thought that's why you guys are always talking about me," I smirk, "Because you like me, right?"
Steve and Soda walk up behind the girls.
"We talk about you because you're a skank!" Sandy shouts, "Back off our boyfriends!""But I'm a dyke, right?" I raise my eyebrow, "C'mon, baby, I'll treat you right."
"Ew!" The girls all run past the boys and somewhere I don't really care.
"Gee, I'm just trying to make friends," I sigh. I look down at Dallas, Steve, and Soda, "Sorry about that, guys. They just wrote a nasty word on my locker so I thought I'd have my fun messing with them.""You're all good," Dallas shrugs.
"So now that you all know Y/N's our sister," Tim begins, "If any one of you hurt her, all three of us with murder you."
"Even me, man?" Dallas asks, "I'd be the best brother in law!"
"Dallas Winston, the day I marry you is the day pigs fly," I joke.
"I can arrange that," Dallas shrugs.
