The beginning

Ayden awoke like he usually did due to his frequent nightmares about demons and dead people. It always gave him goosebumps just thinking about their torn off faces and the only word they ever spoken "help" it seemed to him that they all wanted to be set free from the curse. Ayden sighed in relief when he seen it was only 6:32a.m and he has at least another hour before he had to walk to his new high school. "A shower should relax my tension" he mumbled quietly to himself before getting up and heading to his bathroom. When he got out of the shower it had just turned 7 in the morning as the birds chirped their morning songs. He got dressed in the school uniform he was given to wear as he was fixing the tie he seen a shadow in the mirror,so he turned around at a fast rate. "W-who's there?!" At this point Ayden thought he was just seeing things but he heard a faint "help" without hesitation he ran out of the house with his backpack and bolted down the streets to his school. "Ah shit..."he thought to himself how could he of seen them when their only dreams? He was confused and terrified as he made it into the school building while looking around for someone to ask for help. "Who to ask for help..?" He murmured out while locking his glaze upon a demon wolf with black hair. Well this should be fun, he walked up to the boy and said his greetings,"hello, my name is Ayden. I'm a new student here so I was wondering if you could show me around..?" The boy was a little taller then he was so he had to look up at him a little.
"Yeah um..sure just try to keep up, will ya?" Ayden nodded as the boy started walking down the long hallway."My name is Andrew by the way" the boy started as they approached the first classroom. "It's nice to meet you Andrew" Ayden was quite curious towards Andrew for some odd reason."This is math, and my homeroom class. The teacher is Mr.Rintashi he is a snake so try not to be afraid when you see him...he is a little interesting when you first meet him." Andrew looked nervously at the ground before walking to down the hall full of lockers to the next classroom.

After what felt like forever of Andrew pointing to each classroom and saying who the teacher was. They have seemed to arrive at the principal's office by the way Andrew acted. "You should go in there and get your schedule, by then the bell will ring so I'll talk to you later or whatever.." Andrew spun around and darted off down the hall to math class. Ayden took a deep breath has he walked into the room to see a lady dressed formally while there was a scar going down her face. "U-um hello.." Ayden was a little shy to meet the scary looking lady. She turned around and smiled "You must be Ayden, I've heard such great things about you. I'm so glad I finally get to meet you." Ayden was shocked when she smiled but when he heard she was thrilled to see him, he began to think he was going crazy. "My name is Mrs.Lyian and I'm here to make sure every student that goes here can go into the real world knowing what to expect." She handed him his schedule as the bell rang. "You may go now, and make sure to have fun." She nodded her head as Ayden turned and left the room and walked out into the hallway to see it empty. Great how am I supposed to find my class..He looked at his schedule to see he had math with Andrew so he ran to the familiar classroom. All he could hope for was that no one would stare at him when he walked in. Mr.Rintashi turned to look at the stranger who walked in with a friendly smile, "well you must be Ayden, I'm Mr.Rintashi." Ayden was shocked to see the snake tail that was bright green and black, and to see his black long hair and elf ears that matched his light brown skin. He was dressed in a a shirt with a jacket around his waist and sneakers that were red and white. Well he sticks out..Ayden blushed after realizing the class was looking at him. "Y-yes that's right I'm A-ayden" he looked at the floor fast while his face got hot from the attention. "You may sit infront of Andrew, he's in the back of the class." Andrew didnt seemed surprised when the teacher said he was in the back of the class, he just seemed like that kind of person to do so. Ayden bowed then walked to the back and sat infront of Andrew as class began. The rest of the day till lunch went by alright so Ayden was glad to make it up the stairs and sit on the ground at the roof. "Finally some pe- Oh come on why are you here!" Andrews laugh was like an Angel's and soon enough Ayden felt the blood rush to his face once more. "Anyone can be up here you know." Ayden just wanted a quiet lunch but he might get a friend today. "Sorry...do you wanna join me?" He was getting a little nervous when Andrew sat beside him. He could smell his cologne and feel the body heat coming off of him. "S-so what do you have for lunch?" Ayden managed not to stutter so much but it was still embarrassing. "I dont have anything" Andrew was looking at the sky on this beautifully nice day. "Wanna share with me?" Ayden was guessing he'd say no so he could enjoy the sky some more. "Sure why not it cant hurt to eat something." Ayden smiled as he scooted over his food so it was in the middle of them both.

Weeks and months went by as Ayden and Andrew became closer. They practically knew everything about each other and Andrew always went over to Aydens house. Ayden was excited to see Andrew today, he told him they should meet at the beach at night cause he wanted to tell him something. Luckily it was Saturday so they had plenty of time to get ready and try to let out all the anxious feelings they had.
